Fighting Style:
Balanced
Appearance:
At 5’11”, Triton is a little on the taller side when it comes to Saiyans, likely due to being half Human. His body has an athletic build to it, with lean muscle and a striking figure, and he has sharp features to match. His hair is longer and falls to either side of his face, a dark brown in color and usually a bit messy, and his eyes are by contrast a steel-blue in color. Since he lacks the tail normally associated with Saiyans, it would be difficult to discern his nature unless one had other ways of identifying his heritage. Triton is often seen wearing either his training gi, which is a dark blue with red undershirt, or his more casual outfit, a comfortable pair of dark jeans, a simple t-shirt and a black jacket that has a bit of fur around the collar.
History:
Triton is a Half Saiyan, born on Earth to a family with a rather unorthodox history. His grandparents, Vocado and Dive, were full blooded Saiyans from opposite ends of the conflict that has enshrouded their home world for centuries. Vocado, a Saiyan from the Republic of Sadala, had been visiting Earth of his own free will, having grown somewhat attached to the carefree way of life that Humans led. Dive, a warrior from the Saiyan Empire of Vegeta, was on leave from duty following a rather harrowing skirmish with the PTO at outpost further out, and decided to spend time on the curious planet, entranced by the melting pot that existed there.
The two met on pure chance, bumping into one another leaving the trade port. After some awkward introductions, the two realized that they were equally lost and agreed to explore together. The following weeks were filled with activity, as they experienced the foods, the sights and luxuries available to them, and when the time came for Dive to return to Vegeta, she confessed her feelings to Vocado. Admitting he felt the same, she abandoned the Empire for a life of peace on Earth. Over the years the two had a couple children, one of which was a son named Okaro.
Okaro himself grew up with a thorough understanding of his heritage from both sides, allowing him to form his own opinions about the Saiyan race, as well as he was far more accustomed to Earth and its people. His parents, having kept tails their entire lives, had learned a valuable lesson with their children, and allowed them to choose whether they wished to keep their tail or remove it; Okaro choose the former, and over the years learned to control his urges under the full moon. As he aged, he met and fell in love with a human woman named Cecilia, and the two were inseparable. After their marriage and a few years passed, they had a son. Cecilia named him Triton, and Okaro agreed.
Triton was a fretful child, coddled by both his parents and well cared for. Even though he had a loving household, he was always crying and fussing. Noticing how his power fluctuated during his fits, his father decided very early on to remove his son’s tail, worried that he would become a danger to himself later on if he could not control it. As he grew, Triton was taught how to fight by his father, who had received various forms of training from his parents and a few others on Earth, leading him to have a varied and unpredictable fighting style. Triton didn’t appreciate the training as much when he was younger, but was noticeably gifted when it came to his ki control and energy. He outclassed his father in this regard, and began developing his own abilities alongside his childhood friend, Pluto.
Triton and Pluto were inseparable as youths, the two played and trained together for many years, even developing the same moves together. They likely would have been a perfect team had their other friend Olvi not interfered. Olvi has a profound effect on the two boys, along with Triton’s anger and Pluto’s arrogance, and before long the group began to have a clear division, with Triton and Pluto often squaring off in overly violent conflicts against one another, at times over Olvi and others for no reason other than to fight. It was often that they would leave each other bloodied and beaten harshly, while Olvi would side with one or the other at random, and Triton began to despise this treatment. He wanted his friends back, and it made him hateful that things had changed so vastly. His anger showed in their fights; at times Triton would gain the edge as he lost control of his emotions, his energy spiking violently as he pummeled his once friend. It hurt him more than they knew, and Triton felt bitter at those victories.
Since the years have passed, Triton has come to bitter terms with the results of his teenage years, and not long ago he met someone new, a weird little bubblegum girl named Ren. Being around a Majin was strange at first, but as he grew accustomed to her she quickly claimed him as her ‘boyfriend’, which he came to enjoy. She was a lot like him with her outbursts, but it was refreshing to have a new friend with such a carefree attitude, even if she was as clumsy as a children’s ate as much as him. Triton never gave up on his training, and as such has become far more practiced, although without much of a cause to stand by. He misses Pluto greatly at times, and wishes he could reclaim their friendship, but the scarce meetings have always ended in conflict, forced by one side or the other. The Half Saiyan has continued to live his peaceful life, happy but itching to find something new to drive himself with.
Personality:
The Half-Saiyan can be a very kind and caring individual, always trying to put his best foot forward when it comes to helping and meeting new people. Triton can be kind almost to a fault; he is somewhat gullible at times and has even gone out of his way to prevent causing harm to someone that may even deserve it. On the other hand, he is extremely protective of the people he cares for, and will stop at nothing to protect them. That includes his rival and once best friend, Pluto, another Half-Saiyan that he has known almost all his life.
Triton is an oddity among most Saiyans, as for the better part of his life he was not a fighter. He has always trained, whether with his father or friends, and enjoys it greatly, but he has always had an aversion to serious fighting. Over the years he’s gotten more accustomed to it, and has begun to get a certain amount of joy from it, although his outbursts scare him greatly.
Triton is known to have fits or rage in battle. Not so bad that he loses control of his senses, but rather he loses control of his energy. This is likely due in some part to the fact that he has never turned into a Great Ape, as his father removed his tail when he was very young. Dire situations seem to bring out the beast within him, having never truly experienced the primal fury inherent in his genes. Those that dare to provoke him do so at their own peril, whether they realize it or not.
Techniques:
[ST-1] Flight
[ST-1] Ki Sense
[ST-1] Aura Shield - Summoning his strength, Triton's aura intensifies to such a degree that attacks are dispersed upon contact. Energy/Stamina cost is 75% of the attack's power.
[BT-1] Meteor Blitz - Crossing his arms as he charges his ki, Triton brings both hands forward to fire off a powerful energy wave. [1-50%]
[ST-1] Split Second Stunner - Not preferring close combat, Triton has learned to throw a powerful uppercut at lightning speeds, meant to stun the enemy and give him a chance to put distance between them. [20% Stamina/1 Turn]
[AT-1] Crimson Cutter - Sheathing his hand in red aura, Triton uses his energy to attack the enemy with the flat of his hand, like a blade. He chooses whether or not the blade is edged, preferring not to harm people when he doesn't have to. [1-50%] [CAN SEVER LIMBS]
[RPT-1] Meteor Shower - Similar to his other technique, Triton crosses his arms before throwing them forward and firing an onslaught of energy bolts. [1-50%]
[CONT] Kiai - Using a sudden burst of invisible energy, Triton slams his opponent with a powerful blast, sending them flying. One of his favorite abilities. [1-50%, Energy based]

Example Roleplay:
The sun shined as brightly as ever, the rays piercing the clear blue of the sky around him as he flew with a touch of worry tainting his carefree attitude. Triton couldn’t help but go just a little bit faster, especially as he neared South City. It wasn’t that there was any real emergency, however he knew that there could come one at any time. As always, he had said something small, something that to a normal person would have simply made them act reassuring or saddened.
When he mentioned that he had missed his once friend Pluto, more in the sense that he wondered what he was up to, he should have expected his words would form into ideas in that squishy girl’s head. Triton generally knew better than to let Ren form such ideas, however he was unable to stop her, and thus the current problem has come upon him. He hasn’t seen Pluto in some time, and in mentioning it to Ren he had made a fatal error. Her bubblegum laden gears started turning, and then she was gone.
Triton was, of course, never worried that Ren herself was in any danger. Most of the time it seemed that she were the stronger one between the two, due to her resilience and placid acceptance of life. But then again, it was never normal trouble with Ren. This proved to be true when Triton entered the city proper, dodging around the buildings with ease. Knowing the little Majin, she had probably already been all over half the city, trying to hunt down Pluto would take at least that much, so it was possible he’d catch her before she did. Sensing ki was something Triton was decently adept at, but Ren was always a hard target to pin down, as she always fluctuated so heavily depending on her mood that it was hard to keep accurate tracking of her. He had his senses reaching out to find her, when instead he was snapped out of his search by the lights of sirens not too far off from where he had been searching. Hoping that it would be a sincere coincidence, the Half-Saiyan changed course.
His hopes weren’t entirely confirmed upon arriving at the scene. Truthfully, it was a bit confusing, seeing the police surrounding the dive bar in the middle of the day. One look told Triton enough; there had been trouble, and it looked like the Pluto kind. The police had a few people restrained and sitting on the curb near the cars, all of them appeared to be some kind of biker gang. There was a few people, Triton didn’t really pay much attention to them, except for the two that really stood out. One was a bear - how does a bear man ride a motorcycle cycle? - and the one currently berating the officer taking notes in front of him. By his face and build, he was definitely part Saiyan at least, and Triton could few his energy was at least higher than those around him. “So WHAT?” He shouted angrily, “Yer just gunna let ‘im get away? That punk deserves a warning as much as we do!” It was obvious that the man was belligerent and angry, but the Half-Saiyan still held on to the thought that maybe this time it didn’t concern his blond headed friend.
Approaching one of the officers, he was a bit hesitant. After summoning up the courage, he moved closer. “Excuse me, officer? Did you happen to see a little pink girl anywhere around here? About this tall, curly ponytail?” The officer in question looked up from her notepad, looking thoughtful. “We did see a pink thing fly off real fast as soon as we arrived, didn’t get too good a look at it. Went that way though. Is she related to this incident in some way, sir?” She asked with a bit of intent. Triton rubbed the back of his head, still hearing the guy shouting about some light haired punk (Yep, definitely Pluto...), and dodged the question. “Yeah... I don’t think so, just thought she’d be near here, that’s all. Thanks anyways!” The last bit had been called out a bit louder, as Triton quickly took to the air and went off on his way. She called after him, but he made sure to look completely distracted as he sped off.
Once again taking to the air, the Half-Saiyan began to fly over the broad expanse of the city, feeling out with his senses to beyond each block and building. He tried a few times to call Ren on her phone, but of course she didn’t pick up. That would make things too easy, and Ren was always as difficult as getting gum stuck in your hair. Feeling what seemed like a hint of her energy from nearby, Triton burst around the large buildings in his way. And his heart sank.
He could already see it in the distance. There was a touch of smoke and sparks from broken wires and such, but the building was in tact. And there were more lights at the bottom, meaning the authorities had been called again. Triton wasn’t sure how long it had been since Ren had smashed through the glass, but he hoped it was at least getting resolved. He approached the building from near street level, and he felt her energy closer to the entrance anyways. As she came into view, the Half-Saiyan felt sad to see her looking so hurt. She was fine physically, but she was standing in front of some officers like a small child, grinding her toes into the dirt and holding her hands behind her back as she kept speaking to them and looking down defeatedly. Sighing to himself, Triton made his way to stand next to his petite pink girlfriend.
It was some time before the issue was resolved. Ren explained everything to Triton when he went to her, and she was quite happy to see him, but sad that she was being reprimanded so harshly. He tried to keep her from getting teary-eyed and made a deal with the police. She was gonna have to pay for some of the damages, and he helped set up when she’d go and pay her fine. When they could finally leave, Ren told Triton about how she found Pluto, which he obviously thanked her for and told her that she’d done well. She seemed really sad about letting him get away, and he couldn’t quite figure out what to do to cheer her up. So he did what any sensible man would do.
“Wanna go get some ice cream? I’ll buy as much as you want, just for today.”
