So this was earth… her homeworld…
Hikaru craned her head back to look at the blue skies. She had only been living in Namek for a comparatively short time but in that time she had grown accustomed to the green skies. The blue sky of earth felt strange…
Hikaru never had time to acclimate to any one planet for long. She was often moving onto the next planet before too long. Her life on Namek had been the longest span of time she had ever spent in any one place. Hikaru briefly wondered how surreal it was going to feel when the sun set and she would have to confront her first “night” in months.
Hikaru walked aimlessly about the tournament grounds. She had no particular destination planned. She just needed to kill time before the tournament officially started. She wasn’t fighting in the first round, but Hikaru wanted to observe the competition.
To be honest, she had only been mildly curious about the tournament, but hadn’t had any strong inclination to participate at first. It wasn’t until she was encouraged (practically forced) by her small collection of students that she agreed to the trip. Hikaru herself didn’t have a competitive drive. She didn’t see the point. But the rag tag team of young adults that had called themselves Hikaru’s students had encouraged (see:forced) her to participate. She couldn’t be bothered to argue, so she agreed and traveled to earth.
And now she had nothing to do.
So she simply meandered about taking in the sights and sounds of planet earth, and it’s people.
