One wouldn't believe how excited Athren had become after purchasing his brand new space ship along with the gravity chamber. This was something that was going to allow him to get the absolute max out of training, every movement he did would be fought by the heavier gravity produced by the machine. Even the most simple of movements were going to be more challenging now and he couldn't wait to get started.
At this moment in time he had found himself in the middle of the gravity room, it was the sub level of his ship, it would've been a basement level. Of course, Athren was wearing his heavy training gear as always. He needed to have the best gains possible, he needed to train and get the best gains possible and that would require all the training equipment that he could get his hands on, and he found that he couldn't have gotten enough.
Regardless, it was time to start. The tournament started tomorrow and he had his fair share of things to master yet before he got into that ring. He didn't care if it involved a late night and a lack of sleep because the adrenaline would've taken him over tomorrow at the tournament and kept him well awake for the whole event. As Athren stood there he braced himself for the incoming weight of the Earth's gravity trying to pull him towards the Earth's surface, his smile was wide and bright. He was well prepared and all he needed to do was say the words. "Gravity, Activate at times ten." It was at this point that the gravity chamber activated and he immediately felt the minor change upon his shoulders, though it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. It really didn't have enough of an impact on him to slow him down any, maybe if it had been fifty times it would be something new to him but this, this was nothing to fret about.
Now that the machine had been activated, it was time for him to improve his Nova Image technique. Basically, he needed to improve it so that he could do more than just a still image. He needed to make multiple moving ones. Basically, all this involved was increasing his speed drastically to pull it off.
If he could move fast enough, he would leave multiple images of himself that would distract and throw off the enemy and the more images of himself the better, now this whole technique wasn't overly complicated so he assumed it wouldn't take him very long at all but, given that he figured he'd get to work because there had been one more technique he wanted to work on before the tournament and given how time was limited, he'd have to be very selective with what he learned. Now, he wasn't going to learn everything he wanted but he'd learn some beneficial stuff before the fights commenced.
Quickly, Athren had bounced around on his toes as a little bit of a warm up. He wanted to fully grasp the whole concept of this added gravity but none of it was enough to really make him sweat, it was like he couldn't even feel a thing. Once he bounced around a little bit and got his blood flowing, Athren stretched out casually and warmed up his muscles. He couldn't afford to have an injury this close to the tournament, if he hurt himself he'd be at a massive disadvantage for tomorrow and that was something he couldn't allow to happen. Once stretched and he was fully prepared though, Athren got to the nitty gritty of his training and began. He was passionate about this and his drive was there. Nothing was going to stop Athren, nothing at all.
When Athren took off his speed was incredible, he was leaving one image behind as he zipped around the room. To a normal person, they wouldn't have been able to track his movements at all. It was incredible, it was fast it and was mind blowing. When Athren had executed the first move of his technique, he had monitored exactly how fast he was going and he knew to do more images, he would have to be even quicker. It was at this point that Athren pushed himself further and made himself go faster, and upon his first attempt he succeeded at making more images of himself, it was funny how easy it was but Athren had managed to do it in no time flat.
Though, just because he did it didn't mean he would do it consecutively, he knew he'd have to rinse and repeat this tactic over and over again to perfect it and make it completely effortless, he'd have to make it so that when he wanted to do it, there wasn't a reaction, there was just immediate action.
Athren was a firm believer in time management, it was very important to never have to react to a situation, he wanted to illuminate the thought process and just make it second nature when required and that's exactly what he was going to do.
For the next few hours would've rinsed and repeated his actions, he was full of confidence and wasn't going to quit until he got this thing down one hundred percent. There wasn't even a slight chance that he could pull off an error while executing this so he rehearsed until it was flawless. Once Athren had been happy with it, Athren would've finished off his training of this technique. "Gravity Machine, De-activate." It was at this point that the gravity's increased pull turned off. Now that this one technique was updated, Athren was going to take a nice little break and have a meal, for there was one more technique he needed to improve on before the tournament, it was one that would really pack a punch. It was perfect for the tournament and wouldn't risk hurting anybody else around him, that was his next goal.
