Honestly, today started like any normal day for the young saiyan warrior. He awoke from his slumber bright and early, before the birds started chirping and the sun began to rise and got himself dressed in his best saiyan attire. This of course consisted of his dark blue skin tight suit, followed by his white boots and gloves and lastly, his saiyan chest armor that had the heavy weights attached to it. He was dressed and ready for another day of training and given that the tournament was only days away, he knew that he needed to work extra hard these last few days to prepare for it. Now this would've consisted of my consistent training along with longer hours, he couldn't afford to waste precious time. Each minute that had been ticked away was a minute that he could've been bettering himself, been training for whatever the tournament would send his way. He needed to be in his best figure, best mindset, and his most powerful form for this. He didn't want to lose, he couldn't lose. If he were to lose in this tournament, all of the work he had been putting into himself the last few weeks would've seemed like a complete waste, the far lengths he has gone and the power he had gained would all mean nothing and the facts were, that he couldn't allow that.
If he were to lose, he would feel worthless to himself and as a warrior. He knew the potential this planet had to offer and it wasn't very high, no being born of this planet should be able to match his might at this point and if they did, well that would just be insulted. Now, Athren was aware the universe was invited to this tournament but even then, he knew he was better than most of the warriors out there though, he never expected the PTO to arrive. That was something that would surely throw him off, but that wasn't a concern now for that was something yet to be discovered for now, he just needed to make sure that nobody was going to take him down and he believed that he could do that.
Today's training session was already planned out thoroughly in his head and his location was once again going to be Mount Paozo. After all, it was his favorite place to train and it was more often than not, emptied of others. It was a lonely, peaceful piece of land that let Athren do what he needed to do, to focus on his training and nothing more. Sure, the odd time somebody came along but he was going to risk it today. A little distraction, it wasn't much for him to deal with. After all, his mind was set on a goal and being a saiyan and everything, he wasn't going to stop until that goal was achieved for that's what he had been best at, overcoming all odds and getting to where he needed to be.
Leaving his home it didn't take Athren long to arrive at his destination and once he got there, he had immediately got started on his training session. At first, he started off with some nice stretching and a small warm up. He didn't want to train too hard and injure himself after all, that would've just but a stake through his heart, it would've rendered him useless at the tournament and he needed to be at his very best. After his warm up, Athren would've started shadow boxing intensely, in fact it would've been the most intense training he had ever done. Sure, his training sessions in the past were intense but he had more drive now than ever before, he wasn't doing this to fight for the PTO but he was doing this for himself, to be the best for him. There was nothing about this that was for another reason, purely for his own gains and that pushed him even harder.
There might've been nothing to prove to anybody else, but to him there was everything to prove. He held himself at a very high standard that he needed to reach and maintain, there wasn't any room for failure of the sort and this had given him a drive like never before and this drive, was exactly what he had needed right now. The motivation and drive was really helping push him to knew limits and heights, it was what he needed right now. Surely, this was going to be one hell of a day. He felt as it was going to be one of the best training days in his record books. Though of course, the day he was the most motivated to continue would've been a day that opportunity struck to make some money, hell the offer that was about to approach him would've blown the tournament prize money out of the water and Athren knew that he absolutely needed a ship, he needed it now because than he could get more training equipment and it would literally be a better home than he had now.
At this point Athren would've heard a vehicle approaching him rapidly, he paused on the spot as his ocean blues scanned the sky in the direction that it was coming from. His right eyebrow arched slightly as he wondered who was coming now, hell.. he even sighed lightly. "Today of all days, somebody just has to roll along and fuck this up." He groaned to himself. He had hoped they would've passed him by but life wasn't that easy, there was always something that would get in his way on his absolute best days. Regardless, if they stopped Athren knew he'd deal with it quickly so he could get back to doing what he was doing, and from his perspective as of now.. His training was everything, there wasn't anything more important than that and right now, he had his priorities set hard in his mind and he wasn't going to quit.
