Name of Race:
Geck
Home Planet:
With its large, spanning savannas and sparse greenery or water, Intra Zee isn’t much of an interesting planet. It is, however, a planet of opportune placement, as this planet almost always ends up seeing the cosmic garbage of the next planet over. This scrap is what paved the way for Geck innovation, and ultimately, their first steps into the stars.
History of Race:
The Geck are a bit new to the cosmic scene, and are unaware of the past-goings-on when it comes to wars or planetary destruction. Despite this, however, they seem eager to establish themselves as some of the best mechanics and inventors in the galaxy, and will take on any mechanical challenge thrown their way. Due to this, these minuscule creatures have been increasingly spotted as in-flight mechanics for a number of galactic fleets, and can often be found in chop shops and ship repair stations all across the galaxy.
Appearance:
Geck have a wide variety of appearances, but are all bipedal, gecko-like creatures. Each sports horns and a pair of wings, though the shapes and sizes of such vary per individual. Height is also widely varied, with individuals being recorded at anywhere between three inches and two feet tall (There’s apparently a legend about a Geck that stood at a whopping yard in height, but this has yet to be confirmed). Height, along with wing and horn size and shape, seem to be independent of gender, but more definitive of their role in society. The smaller the individual, the more likely they are to work as tinkerers and inventors. The larger individuals are more prone to be guards, farmers, and any other occupation requiring bulk and strength.
Individuals also sport a minor racial weapon, their Elemental ‘Breaths’, based on the color of their wings and horns:
Gold, Brass, or Red: Fire Breath (Cone)
Blue or Bronze: Electric Breath (Beam)
Black or Copper: Acidic Saliva
Green: Poisonous Breath (Cloud)
White or Silver: Ice (Cloud)
Racial Biology:
Alert!: While the concept of Ki is new to the Geck, it’s existence is not. These small, prey-like individuals have a better time gauging the strength of someone’s Ki in relation to others nearby.
(Can sense suppressed Individuals and can also sense the Max strength of somebody suppressed.)
Note: You will still need Ki Sense to do this.

Small But Mighty: Due to their history with getting knocked over, smashed, tossed, and blown up by their own inventions, the Geck are a hardy lot for their size. They can take a bit more of a beating than expected. (15% damage reduction on all basic attacks. Both Ki & Stamina based.)
Techno-logic: If there’s anything the Geck like, it’s technology. Place something mechanical near a nest, and it’ll be swarmed in minutes. Geck love to pull apart things and put them back together, learning everything they can about something. This gives them a kick-start when it comes to repairing foreign machines, and helps them get along with races like Humans, Tuffles, or Androids. (They can repair androids for half the price, they also get a 25% discount on all their own created items)
Transformations:
Nano Line
Geck are new to the concept of Ki manipulation, and as such, have yet to be documented using Transformations of the traditional sense. Instead, they’ve taken inspiration from Tuffles and Androids, utilizing nanomachines to improve their resiliency and strength, but must be powerful enough to handle the technology in the first place.
Power Up! (Requires 25,000 PL)
A Geck can utilize the scrap around them to create basic nanomachines to be injected into their bodies, increasing their strength and resilience. [x4 Perm]
Hardware Update (Requires 45,000z)
Using more specialized materials, a Geck can create a new set of nanomachines, establishing them as an impressive force to be reckoned with... once this update finishes, of course! [x15 Perm]
Optimization (Requires 70,000z)
The travels of the Geck have further improved their knowledge of machines! Using materials from other planets, this new set of nanomachines is a small step into a new horizon for these diminutive mechanics. [x26 Perm]
Digital Dirge (Requires 110,000z)
Using only the rarest materials from oft-forgotten planets, The Geck have reached their peak. These tiny creatures have progressed to a point previously unforeseen, ascending the natural ladder from ‘Prey’ to ‘Predator’! [x45 Perm]
