Spy missions seemed to be super boring at first. You can't just go around killing things. Well, you could, but it was way less productive and made things harder in the long run. No, you had to sneak around and get access to the data you need. You couldn't let anyone detect that you had even been there.
Enyo had hated the task at first. She knew it was necessary. You needed information to plan your next move. But it was just so boring. Until she changed her thinking. She made it a game. It was just like hunting in the forests of Sadala. She needed to move silently. Unseen. Unheard. It was the only way to get to her prey.
The out post databanks.
Enyo had flown quietly to the out post's perimeter, just out of scanning range, then lowered her ki to nearly undetectable. Her bright red and gold armor had been discarded, as well as her striped leg and arm warmers. She wore only a full black suit, jer tail around her waist, and her visor. While she didn't need to block any blutz rays, Frost had no moon, it still covered her eyes and shielded the eerie green glow.
Enyo crept along the ground on all fours, moving in long smooth movements. She prowled like a cat, keeping her silhouette low. Enyo stuck to the shadows and darted past the guards and sentries as little more than a shadow in their periphery.
Early on, some of the first few times she had played this game, she'd get caught by a guard or some security system. While Enyo had always managed to neutralize the guard or system before she was seen and identified; it was still far better if they had never known she had been there at all. And the more she played, the better she got at it.
She managed to slip her way through the guard patrols. No one had even looked in her direction. Next came the computer systems that locked the doors. They recorded when they opened, and the comings and goings of personnel.
The technology had been beyond Enyo at first. She had lived in the woods fighting for her meals barehanded for Vegeta's sake! She hadn't needed to handle anything more complicated than basic lights and other necessities until she had forced the army to take her!
However, she wasn’t stupid, and she had allies who were excellent teachers.
Enyo tapped a button on the side of her visor and scanned the data pad briefly. This one was an algorithmic code. Good, it was more annoying when it required a bio-signature. She began typing on the data pad next to the door. All she needed to do was first open the digital maintenance system. There were a few standard codes and Enyo went through them, gaining access on the second try.
“Easy-peasy,” she said under her breath with a wolfish grin.
Enyo quickly connected her visor into the network via the back door system, then whispered into the com line, “Alright, I’m at the door and we’re connected. Do your thing.”
