A Walk in The Woods [Complete]

Lettuki kept making his way to the source of the power, not hearing any sort of reply but he did note it was moving ever so slow to him, so it did know he was there. "I know you're out here, come on out." Lettuki said as he looked for any sort of shape that could be the one emitting the ki. "Are you planning to ambush me? You have no hope of winning if you do, face me like a true warrior." Lettuki said as he kept moving toward the source of ki, still not seeing the now floating demon girl.

Until he finally saw her, well at least her outline. It was a small frame, extremely small. "What the...?" Lettuki said in confusion. "What are you? A teenager?" Lettuki asked, most people were hovering around 6 feet, maybe 5 feet and 6 inches, but never what he assumed to be less than 5 feet. It was strange to see such a tiny humanoid figure emit an even stronger source of ki than Alice after her two transformations. "How are you this strong though?"Lettuki asked the figure, he was confused on this whole thing.

"...Unless." Lettuki said as he realized the figure could possibly be a saiyan like he was, it was an average strength for a saiyan warrior after all. "Are you a saiyan as well?" Lettuki asked the figure, moving close quickly in an attempt to see the figure clearly.

Lettuki didn't expect the girl to pop out, she was more tinier than he expected and was rather pale for even a human. But most importantly, she didn't have a tail and instead had a small horn and a small bump on the opposite side of her head. Was she some sort of mutant? What was she? He had never seen any type of race like her that he could recall. She spoke softly with a strained voice, she had no idea what a saiyan was. How much did she know? She didn't seem much to talk.

"What are you?" Lettuki asked her as approached her and slightly bent down to examine the girl's small horn. "I never seen a human like you before." Lettuki said as he eyed the tiny girl, trying to determine what race she was since there was so much deformities for her to be a regular old human. Red eyes, pale skin, horns, it was far too strange for any humans, he hadn't even met a human was skin as pale as the girl was, let alone the extra features.

But he remembered the girl asked him a question, it would be unfair to ask so much questions and ignore her simple attempt at a question. "Oh, right, your question." Lettuki said out loud to himself. "Hm... Saiyans are like humans, you know what humans are, correct?" Lettuki asked the girl. "What am I saying, you're on Earth, you should know what a human is." Lettuki told himself more than her. "Us saiyans are stronger versions of humans, you can tell us apart by our tails." Lettuki said as he unwrapped his tail and showed it off to the demon girl.

"I'm Lettuki, the future saiyan king." Lettuki told the girl with pride and a smile. He felt a bit at ease around her, she seemed too small to actually pose a threat to him and almost seemed scared of him.

Lettuki managed to catch the word "Jaci" but the rest of it was far too advanced for him to understand except for the the final two words, "Is me". So that meant her name was "Jaci" something. Or at least that what he assumed. It wasn't entirely clear if she meant her race was called that or if that was her name. Either way he was going to dub her "Jaci" for convenience and because he couldn't hope to replicate the same sounds she made.

Yet when he explained what a saiyan was, she had struck him on the head and told him that it was somehow bad. Lettuki only gritted his teeth and reminded himself this person must've been quite young for her race if she knew so little and thought it was a good idea to strike someone she had just met.

She also didn't take much joy in Lettuki's plan to become king, only huffing and shaking her head, it was awfully childlike. Lettuki simply sighed. Such a strong warrior and it was like a child. But it was promising, she was presumably young and strong already. "I don't know "Dabura" Jaci. Where is your mom or dad?" Lettuki asked her trying to use more simple words so she could properly understand her. He had expected a strong warrior to fight, not a child to babysit, but if he was lucky, the father or mother of this child would be strong enough to make up for the disappointment that was this child.

With the mention of Lettuki not knowing who was Dabura, it seemed to only make the child angrier than before, she even puffed her chest and further expanded on who Dabura was. A big strong demon? Was it a literal demon king or a self imposed title? Lettuki didn't care too much about the afterlife, but he did hear about demons and gods. How would such a creature even get here though? It had to be a self imposed title. Or so he thought, the girl had drawn a picture of her home, it seemed to be exactly as some legends described it, fires everywhere, brimstone patterns as well, but strangely she drew a small little house.

Inside the house was a person with two horns and several people with a single horn much like the self proclaimed demon before him. "Wait... You're a demon?" Lettuki asked, confused about rather or not had truly stumbled across a mythical creature and out of all forms, they came as a small childish girl with a single horn. He expected large intimidating creatures, not small adorable creatures, but on the plus side he found himself relieved that hell wouldn't be too bad at the very least if he found himself there. "How did you get here little demon?" Lettuki asked the girl, curious why one would be roaming the mortal plane instead of... Doing whatever it is that demons do in hell.

The demon seemed to have begun to trust him to a degree as she put her stick away and examined him closely, only stopping to point out his tail. But unlike last time, she had chosen not to him, so he had that going for him thus far.

When he asked about how he got here though, it seemed to have struck a nerve as she sighed rather sadly, but strangely enough she took off her top and presented her back to the saiyan. Lettuki examined the scars on her back, not really caring about her being topless. The sheer multitude of scars would've been impressive if it wasn't from a child, instead it only made Lettuki sick, some one had chosen to beat this child for quite some time now if he had to guess.

However, the biggest shocker was the person who had done this to her, as it turns out it was her own father in an attempt to make her stronger so he could become the new demon king. He knew what it meant to make someone strong, but to do this to their own child? Perhaps he should be more worried if he ends up in hell, if they showed little compassion to their own offspring, he hated to imagine what they'd do to strangers.

"I'm sorry to hear that little one." Lettuki could only say as he felt his blood boiling, the coward beat his daughter and cast her from hell when she provided no use. Truly sickening to the saiyan, but it wouldn't be the first time he had found a "lost" soul like this one. He wondered how Enyo was doing on her assignment, at least unlike the father's method of beating her daughter and then abandoning her, Lettuki had contact with Enyo and was more than willing to provide back up should she need it.

"How long have you been here? Do you not have someone to take care of you?" Lettuki asked the demon, wondering if she was actually surviving on her own out here or he had gotten lucky and found her before she spent an unhealthy amount of time here. He'd probably go drop her off at the nearest town if she had truly been left here and unable to survive in the forest.

The demon didn't seem to know how to answer at first and when she finally said her answer it had made little sense. All he could guess was that she had the stick and "half-tree" to keep care of her, whatever the "half-tree" was. But she also chose to ignore the how long she was there. Or she had forgotten. Or didn't understand. Lettuki sighed. He didn't want to deal with a child, but he wouldn't forgive himself if he allowed such a strong child to slowly starve to death, alone and forgotten.

The girl then asked why he was big. At least he assumed she was talking about him. "Hm... I ate lots, I train, got strong. I am not human though. I am a Saiyan." Lettuki attempted to explain, unsure how to properly communicate with a child, he never really bothered with children so he was a fish out of water here. "I wear these to get stronger." Lettuki said while taking off his head band, the lightest part of his weighted clothing. "Wear and get strong." Lettuki explained in more simpler terms as he showed off the weighted head band a bit to the demon girl.
