Character Name:
Jack Cyprus
Gender:
Male
Race:
Android
Racial Traits:
Undetectable:
Androids in most cases harness a form of artificial Ki. Due to this, the typical means of sensing don't work. [Androids can only be detected via the use of a scouter.]
Repairable:
Since an android is robotic they can be rebuilt and repaired when necessary. When an androids health reaches 0 they must be rebuilt instead of going to the other world. [This costs 1,000z initially, goes up by 1,000z every rebuild.]
Endurance:
Unlike organic creatures, Androids rely upon an internal reactor for energy, which has an unvarying energy output. No Stamina or Energy is spent on basic attacks. [Basic Energy and Stamina Attacks.]

Perfect Machine
Energy Boost [15,000 Power Level Required]
Tapping further into their reserves, the Android is able to access a deeper pool of power than they normally would exert.
[x5]
Core Acceleration [125,000 PL]
By stressing the limits of their body, Androids are able to put out even more power than before
[x15]
Adaptive Efficiency [250,000 PL]
The Android has learned to adapt their Energy output for maximum efficiency in any situation, making them far more powerful and deadly adversaries
[x30]
Maximum Capability [375,000 PL]
An Android that has reached the pinnacle of Human/Machine functionality, they are now perhaps one of the most dangerous beings in the universe.
[x45]
Overdrive [500,000 PL]
After fully realizing the limits of their enhancements, very few Androids have been known to push their bodies to the absolute fullest, and then some. Those who can will find themselves able to outpace nearly any of the organic races, as was the purpose of their creation.
[x60]
Age:
? (Appears to be in his late 20s)
Fighting Style:
Balanced
Appearance:
Jack is a very handsome man, with chiseled, sharp features and neatly tanned skin. His black hair is kept cleanly cut short, with the front always having its bangs spiked up in a fluffy way that seems natural. His eyes were blue before, however his augmentation makes them shine a bright electric blue in color. His body is muscular and toned, though not bulky at all, his broad shoulders making him look more comfortable in his mass.
Jack wears a few different outfits in his day to day, though the two he wears most are his preferred self image, and neither is without his favorite blue bandannaaround his neck. One outfit was for his public appearances as the CEO of the Red Ribbon Corporation, a black military style jacket with the company insignia on the back, with a white dress shirt beneath and a pair of black slacks that look rather professional. His combat clothes are by far his favorite, however, being a black skin tight upper body suit, with silver linings and detailing. His pants resemble military cargo pants, although are tighter and black as well, ending in his favorite combat boots. He wears gloves made of some form of synthetic material similar to the body suit.
History:
Jack Cyprus, a name given to him by persons unknown, was born into a humble family, one who lived away from the norms of society. He could have lived a rather boring and normal life, were it not for the Red Ribbon Army.
At three months of age, the attack happened. A raiding party sent for nearby supplies happened upon the lone homestead, ravaging it without mercy. As the house collapsed, a baby cried out in the flames, screaming in fear. The general in charge found the child and saw a potential candidate for their newest ranks. And so it began.
Jack was raised as strictly as you might assume, which had bred the thirst for rebellion within him. He rose swiftly through the ranks of the RR, showing extreme promise due to his strange abilities. He was faster and stronger than many of his peers, and his reflexes were honed to perfection - whether through training or scientific experimentation - to the point of no equal. When in perfect focus, he was a brutal machine, his skill at various martial arts and weaponry of all kinds made him indomitable, as target after target fell before him. At the age of twenty-eight, he was offered something he had never anticipated.
The Android program. It was something that whispered through the ranks, and only those in positions of power knew the truth of the matter. Jack himself had heard rumors, but never concrete fact about its successes. The thought appealed greatly to the soldier, and the promise of perfection would be his.
Centuries passed. The machines worked tirelessly on him as his body lay preserved in the tank that it now called home. He had no sense of time passing, nor could he have known all that transpired without him. Until the day that he awakened once more.
Discovered some years ago by the current Red Ribbon Army, Commander Jack Cyprus became the oldest known living Android. He showed no signs of deterioration, nor any negative consequences to his long period of rest. Not fully understanding how his new body worked nor the time period he now resided in, Commander Cyprus returned to the forefront of the RR forces, now named the Red Ribbon Corporation, devoting himself to the efforts made to expand the conpany.
Realizing that their old ways were outdated and still feeling the same distaste as he had in his previous life, Jack found solace in the work done by the new iteration of his former employer. With his skills in managing the paramilitary side of the Red Ribbon Corporation, he quickly proved his worth when it came to negotiation and financing, leading to his rise in both sides.
Jack still sits as the current CEO of the RRC, below its board of directors, and proudly provides services to most of the known galaxy. His past still haunts him, but he has certainly made the best of the new age.
Personality:
Jack is a very straightforward man. His military training asserts itself in the form of his determination and willingness to defeat any adversary that comes his way. As a person, he can be very sarcastic and almost condescending at times, but it's meant to be light-hearted. He will always see himself as a protector of earth and its inhabitants.
Since his reawakening in particular, Jack has gone out of his way to ensure that he holds a positive public image, as well as done his best to atone for the sins of his past.
Techniques:
[ST-1] Flight

Example Roleplay:
“Not much farther now!” The statement was a simple one, but it was all the men needed to hear to set their nerves on edge. The only one that seemed calm as ever was their leader, who had already seen the target coming into view against the moonlight of the night.
Jack Cyprus, Commander of the Red Ribbon Army and leader of his own special squadron, was seated in the open hatch of a tank, one of three that were making their way towards the castle in the distance. The reports coming from the area were stunning, and it brought excitement to the soldier as he scanned the area with his binoculars. The Eternal Dragon was sighted near here, and it took less than an hour for the upper ranks to mobilize his squadron. They were nearly upon the castle, maintaining a safe distance as they eyed it from afar.
The tanks were silent as the men climbed out one by one, setting up the small reconnaissance post. Jack himself was watching closely as he made notes for his second to record on his behalf. “All is quiet at Pilaf’s Castle.” He stated plainly for the recording. “No activity since the supposed activation of the Dragon Balls. Will continue to report as the situation changes.” Lowering his binoculars, Jack sighed as he eyed the fortress. Looking to his second, he nodded slightly toward the looming structure. “We’re moving on to Phase 2 of the plan. You keep everyone anchored here while I take the infiltration unit to the walls. We’re going to try and figure out how Pilaf got his hands on all seven Dragon Balls.” She nodded in response as she turned and began calling out orders to the men.
Jack suited up in his battle harness, equipping his men with their grapple launchers and other climbing gear. It would be a breeze to scale the walls with the new technology provided to them by the R&D Department, and he felt that this mission was going to be over much faster than previously anticipated. They approached the walls silently, single file, weapons ready.
Once they had arrived at the walls safely, Jack gave the order to prepare. Launchers were anchored to the ground, and the hooks were fired high in the air. Having previously scouted the castle, the Red Ribbon Scouts had already used their instruments to measure the exact height of every wall and tower, and they were aiming straight for the bedchambers of ‘Emperor’ Pilaf himself. The other team circled around and were to maintain radio silence, unless circumstances dictated otherwise. Leading the way, Jack attaches the rappel device to the cable and zipped quietly upwards, his harness attached by a thin but strong cable to ensure his safety upon reaching the dazzling heights of the towers.
Jack counted to fifteen, the measured time it would take for his momentum to carry him directly into the window of the hallway, and released the latch on his safety harness, landing directly in the windowsill and rolling into the well lit hall. His men followed shortly after, and moved to either side to watch the approach from each angle. Jack kicked in the door to Pilaf’s bedchamber.
The sound of the door crashing in had awoken the diminutive man almost immediately, as Jack entered the room with his pistol drawn and pointed at the false ruler. “What is the meaning of this???” He shouted in his almost whining voice, “I’m trying to get some sleep! It’s bad enough my wish was ruined, now this!!” Jack was rather curious as to what he was raving about, but he had a job to do. “Quiet, Pilaf. Or I won’t hesitate to harm you.” The threat was curt and decisive, and it paused the blue man immediately. “You’re going to answer my questions. Then I’ll decide what happens to you. How did you find the Dragon Balls?” The question was quick and forceful, and the gun pointed at Pilaf was rather convincing. “I used my machine, okay? It found them! And I stole the rest off some brats! Is that good enough for you! Who the hell are you anyway?!” He continued raving like a loon, and Jack continued to record him. It was a simple thing to do, and he certainly wasn’t being very secretive. After he asked a few more questions, Jack began to approach Pilaf. “You’re going to be coming with me, the leader would like some words with you himself.”
“NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!” The little emperor shouted with an evil gleam in his eye. A gunshot rang out suddenly, and pain coursed through Jack's leg as a bullet tore the flesh from his thigh. Jerking his head to the side, he caught a glimpse of Pilaf as he dove into a secret hatch, where Jack caught the barest glimpse of an attractive woman holding a gun as she ducked in as well. The monitors sprang to life in the castle, catching everyone off guard as the emperor’s voice rang from the speakers. “Luckily for me, you nitwits are right where I want you. Enjoy the fireworks FOOLS!” He cackled as he pushed the button in front of him and the screen went black. There was an extreme rumble from beneath the fortress, and the radio came to life immediately. “Sir! A rocket just fired from the roof of Pilaf's tower! And an explosion just rocked the foundation!” Jack gave the order without hesitation.
“RETREAT!”
Jack’s men leapt into action, one of them assisting him to the cable while the others rappelled as quickly as the could down the side of the tower. Grabbing the cable and slapping the safety clip to it as quickly as possible, Jack threw himself down the cable, practically free falling until he reached the ground. He hit hard, barely slowing down as the rest of his men went ahead of him. He refused their help, ordering them to get to safety without him.
Then the second explosion. Rubble flew from the castle in a spectacular fashion. As it began landing all around them, Jack glanced back to see a large section of tower heading straight for him. It closed the distance almost in an instant, and before he knew what had happened, he had already blacked out.

“Is he alive in there? Can he hear us?”
“We don’t know for sure, sir. The pod can only open from the inside it seems, but the data suggests that he’s finished. We’ve begun the process of waking him.”
The sound was only a whisper as Jack lay still. The darkness around him had been home for so long, his body attuned to the silent whirl of machines that surrounded him. This peculiar noise was out of place, from another world as his mind wandered between dream and memory. Speech was not something that fit with this picture of serenity; he hadn’t heard another person’s voice in so long that he subconsciously refused it as any sort of truth.
Thump...
The soldier’s eyes shot open as he gasped for air, the taste stale in the back of his throat as he tried to sit up. Met with immediate resistance, his body went into a panic as he tried to remember where he was.
Thump... Thump...
Facing forward, his eyes adjusted to the darkness that enshrouded him. There was roughly a foot and a half of space between him and what seemed to be a solid wall. It wasn’t until he realized where he was that things started to make sense.
There was no wall in front of him, it was glass. He was restrained inside the auto-bed that had been designed by the scientists of the Red Ribbon Army. As his memory returned, he figured that he must still be located in the northern mountains, in a hidden lab where the Android program had taken place. There was a panel in front of him and to the side, just within reach of his right hand. The screen was flashing, and the hand scanner had a dim glow that resonated within the pod. Placing his palm against it, the system sprang to life as his restraints released their grip, and the glass slid open.
Jack was confused, to understate the feeling that washed over him as he observed the laboratory that housed his chamber. The emergency lights were barely functioning, the monitors were either defunct or dim as they laid unused. The only machines that seemed to cling to life were the ones connected to him, he noted as he finished. Before him stood a squad of armed men, a couple scientists and a man in a rather out of place suit. He noticed, however, that the uniforms were reminiscent of the ones his men wore, if not a bit more functional in design. The man approached with a suitcase in hand and looked Jack square in the eye.
“Are you still with us, Commander?” The words came from the man with a degree of uncertainty. Jack nodded and saluted, the click of his boots echoing slightly through the near silence. “Commander Jack Cyprus, Special Forces Division, reporting for duty, sir.” The statement was factual and to the point, and there was no sense of misunderstanding from either side. The suited man relinquished the case to Jack, as he spoke plainly. His words were deliberate, and they echoed in his mind for years to come.
“Welcome back, Jack. You have some catching up to do after the last couple centuries.”
