Character Name:
Sora
Gender:
Male
Race:
Namekian
Racial Traits:
Regeneration:
A Namekian warrior has the ability to regenerate their limbs and even holes that have been blown in them. It requires the Namekian to focus on just that to do it though. They can regenerate 10% of their missing Health and regrow all missing limbs and close all open wounds.
[This costs stamina equivalent to the half of the health regenerated]
Fusion:
Namekians have the ability to permanently fuse with one another. When you find a willing partner you're allowed to fuse with them to gain 25% of their power level. You will also learn all of their techniques. This can also be done on an NPC but you'll only gain 5% of their power level in that situation.
Flexibility:
Namekians are capable of stretching their limbs out greatly, this can be used in combat and even for some special techniques! You can increase the stamina cost of one of your physical techniques by 5% to increase the dodge cost by 10%!
Age:
30
Fighting Style:
Brawler:
7.5% Physical Damage
2.5% Energy Damage
Appearance:
On the shorter side of Namekians, a rather bulky man wearing hand wraps and foot wraps and a pair of shorts. He has quite a few scars all over his head and a seemingly permanent distracted look on his face. Unless he is in a fight, where his expression is that of a twisted sort of excitement.
Personality:
The 3 most important things to Sora, in order, are Fighting, His Pride, and His people. If you respect these, you are alright in Sora's book. Especially if you like to fight, Sora likes you. At least, until you disrespect his pride and his people. His dream is to be at the top of all Brawlers in the entire universe, none of that weird energy blast stuff. Energy is used to assist, but it is not a weapon.
There are 4 kinds of fights:
Power VS Power, Sora's favorite kind of fight. Two people, hitting each other as hard as they can, back and forth, until someone is unconscious. No fancy footwork, no dodging, no weaving, no thinking involved, just planting your feet and hitting another person.
Technique VS Technique, Sora doesn't mind this too much. Anticipating someone's moves, countering their moves, making sure you don't get countered, and a TON of thinking involved. Most people think this when they think of a fight, and that's fine with Sora, but he gets tired of it.
Power VS Technique, Sora hates this. He wants to hit this person as hard as he can, but they spend every second dodging and predicting and it bothers the hell out of him.
Life or Death, Sora LOVES fighting for his own life but HATES when other's lives are threatened. Could be any of the other kinds of fights, but the result is that someone has to die or try really hard to live. If he fights for his own life, he sees this as a time to improve himself, he is at his best when he has everything to lose.
But fight's should not exist to save others. They HAVE to exist to save others. This concept bothers Sora, but regardless he will save others if they are in need of it.
History:
Sora has never had much of an interesting life. When he was very young, he helped out the elders on the farms, or with any other tasks, they would have him complete. All of this, he didn't know he was setting himself up to become strong. Carrying water to strengthen his arm, running back and forth to strengthen his legs, and then, of course, he also when to school to strengthen his mind. His course of life changed completely when he saw Suka.
When Sora was young he met the current Guardian of Namek, Suka. The way he fought, it was like a dream. Fluid movements, not a wasted breath, and clean execution of his technique. His purpose for fighting didn't matter, who he was fighting didn't matter, the only thing that mattered to Sora was beating him. From the first day of seeing him fight on, Sora was infatuated with fighting and started training relentlessly, and feel's the time is soon to come that he fights Suka.
Sora has helped in the efforts to fight off the Dark Clan, where he tests out all of his new techniques and hopes that he can make an impression of Suka. He never really had any thoughts about eliminating the Dark Clan, they are just targets for Sora to train himself on. He makes up for his lack of motivation in fighting the Dark Clan with his extreme motivation for fighting much stronger enemies, which leads to a relatively exceptional performance when dealing with the Dark Clan.

Example Roleplay:
After 6 long weeks of waiting, today was the day. Sora barely slept in anticipation of today. Today was the day one of the local warriors and him agreed upon. They day they fought. The warrior's name was Lug.
6 weeks ago, right after a major winning fight with the Dark Clan, Sora, and Lug, along with many others in their group, where resting up and talking to each other about the fight. Sora kept mostly quiet while Lug boasted that he had to be the strongest of the warriors in the fight and that everyone else was slacking off. Most men laughed it off, some got offended, and Sora did both.
"Lug," Sora let out a smug smile. "I don't know if you counted, but I did. You only fought off 9 enemies, and only 3 of those were in solo fights. Leo here fought 13, and 6 of his were solo fights. Mando over there fought 14 enemies, 8 of his were solo fights. Hell, I fought 18 people, and all of mine were solo fights. How about you wipe that smug look off your face and pick up your slack."
Lug, did as he was told and wiped off his smug look. But it was quickly replaced, "SORA! You've got to be joking! Leo? Mando? YOU? None of you piss-ants could even touch me in a fight! Plus how did you even count all of those...? I could take you any day of the week, you name it!"
'Well... that was quick.' Sora thought to himself since all he had to say was one thing to bait a fight. "Fine. We have scheduled tests next month that we must be in top condition for... So what do you say...6 weeks from now? I will teach you a lesson you won't forget."
By this time, all of the other fighters around Sora and Lug had started talking about how good a fight that would be, they eagerly waited for Lug to respond. Lug looked flustered. He wasn't used to people talking back to him, and this just made him angrier. "DEAL! Sora when I'm done with you, YOU WON'T KNOW UP FROM DOWN!"
"'You won't know up from down' he says? What a silly insult. Though I guess mine wasn't much better... Oh well." Sora got up from his bed and proceeded to the place where his fight would be. On his way, he noticed a lot fewer people in town than usual. The people he would wave to when he did his morning runs were not home even. Sora knew. They all were going to watch the fight. The people always loved to come to the fights the warriors would start amongst each other, it was one of their favorite pastimes.
When Sora arrived at the arena they had usually set up for sparring, he found all of the people in town lined up trying to get in. A lot waved at him, and he awkwardly waved back. He made his way to one of the waiting rooms and proceeded to do some warmups and stretches. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, Mando came to his room, "Sora, it's time. Get out there and kick his ass.", and Sora nodded and made his way to the arena.
It was a relatively small ring, 5 meters in length, and 5 meters in width. Stepping outside it was considered forfeiting. Then there was plenty of room made for all the townspeople to stand and watch the fights unfold. Both fighters came from opposite sides of the arena and made their way to the center of the ring. As Sora's gaze met with Lug's, a tense air filled the room. All of the cheering that had been stopped and only intense concentration was left amongst the audience. Sora and Lug bumped fists, and as their fists collided, they both jumped back and assumed their stances.
Lug was taller than Sora by about 14 inches, and his stance reflected that. He had a tall, wide guard up. He had one foot forward and the other behind him and constantly pivoted his weight between each foot.
Sora had a slightly more compact stance. He keeps his left arm down and at a right angle in front of him, and his right arm up to the side of his face. His left leg is in front of him facing his enemy, and his right foot is behind him, standing on his toes for rotation from side to side or to shift his weight backward to dodge incoming attacks.
'This'll be a piece of cake! I'll get the shorty to focus his guard all up near his head, then when he ain't lookin', sneak in a swift kick to his side! He won't know what hit em!'
'I'll wait, let him initiate the fight, and adjust accordingly. Knowing this hothead, he will have a pretty straightforward plan.... or no plan at all.'
After quite a few long seconds, both fighters staring each other own, Lug made the first move. The audience not so privy to fighting was awestruck at the speed of Lug's forward dash, but even more, that Sora was able to see it and block.
Due to his higher stance, the strategy of focusing his attacks higher up Sora's body looked effective. Each blow made a thunderous clap as they were blocked, but no attack was let through. Lug then attempted to bait Sora with a wider swung right hook as a feint and threw out his left leg aimed at Sora's side.
Had Sora not read every single movement, the kick still might have hit him. But had Lug aimed his kick just a few inches lower, it was guaranteed to hit him. Due to Sora's lower stature, he ducked under the kick and landed the first blow of the fight with a strong kidney punch.
'SHITHEAD!'
'I shouldn't be surprised it was that simple, but gosh it was THAT simple? Well, this will be a short match.'
What had been a fairly even match suddenly turned to a huge advantage for Sora as his opponent was flustered. Lug, seething with rage, recovered fairly quickly and dropped his high guard for a more free form stance. The change in stance didn't bother Sora, and he unleashed hell upon Lug. Sora's original stance was for him to throw flicker jabs, so that is what he did. One after another, they didn't apply much damage, but they sure did bother Lug. He had no idea where they were coming from, or how to block them. But by the time he figured it out, it was too late for him. Sora had managed to close the distance between them.
The sound that followed was all majority of the audience registered. Almost that of two vehicles crashing into each other at a high speed. The next thing they saw was Lug, out of bounds, bleeding from his head, and unconscious. For the minority that did see, the move was simple and beautifully executed. One of the flicker jabs turned into a grab as Sora extended his arm to grab the back of Lug's head and pulled it as hard as he could into his knee which had already been launched like a rocket toward Lug's face.
Cheering erupted, the fight may have only been 63 seconds, but it was one of the greatest minutes of their lives. Two Namekian youths came out and started to heal Lug, while Sora waved to the crowd of people chanting his name. "Sora, you were awesome!","We want to see you fight again some time!", "When are you fighting Suka?", and other various statements were thrown out.
"Everyone." As Sora said this the room quieted down. Even the two Namekians healing Lug stopped to look, leaving Lug as the only one in town to now hear his words. "What you saw today? It was nothing. I am almost done. I am almost there. My training. Soon I will be ready. And when I am. Suka... IS GOING DOWN!" Sora threw his fist up into the air, and it was met with an even more powerful cheer from the audience. Sora, keeping his hand raised, walked off the arena, down the hallway, and out the door before he put his hand down. It was time to go back to Train.
