It was a wonderful night, the stars were shining down on the planet known as Earth and the moonlight gave the land a nice soft blue glow. Many people had gathered outside their homes in preparation of tonight, there were reports of a meteor shower that should be occurring in view of the people and many wanted to see the streaks of the meteorites pass by. Lettuki however had a much different plan for tonight, it was going to be the perfect time for him to try out a method of training he had heard about so long ago, but never found the time to actually try it for himself.
The training method was rather primal but it sounded far more interesting than any training method he had done during his stay on Earth, the method relied on the method showers and it was why Lettuki had never done it before, he was always too busy on missions or off planet to actually utilize it, but now, he had nothing better to do. All he had to do was go into the outer atmosphere and wait for the meteor shower to start, from there he'd have to dodge the meteorites and if he can't dodge them, he'\d have to destroy them. As he said, it was simple, primal and a bit stupid, but it sounded like it could be fun.
Lettuki was currently sitting on the edge of a cliff, looking up toward the crescent shaped moon off in the distance while he waited, the only thing to keep him occupied was the delicious snack the bartender had given him, they were quite odd but made for a good meal. Plus he was almost certain they were somehow helping him get stronger, he wasn't entirely too sure how, but since he had begun to eat them he was getting ever so slightly stronger faster.
Suddenly the alarm he had set for the estimated time the meteors would be passing by had gone off, causing Lettuki to silent it as he finished the rest of the meal and discard the remains off the edge of the cliff. Taking to the air, Lettuki begun to fly upward toward the streaks of light that was only now beginning. He was excited by this stupid idea, being able to train and do his best against nothing more than glorified space rocks was something he never really considered until it was brought to his attention.
As Lettuki flew upward to meet the meteorites, he wondered just how big they would be and how fast they were, he never really gave that much thought, mostly because of how ridiculous this concept was. Regardless of how fast, dense or size, he had to estimate that they'd at least be worth it considering some people believed it worth their time to use the meteors as training tools.
As he approached the streaks of lights left by the meteorites, he realized just how fast they were and the size of them, they were fairly large, bigger than the boulders he had found near his cave, but he had seen larger sitting on mountains, but what they lacked in size they made up for in speed, they were zooming by rather quickly and was quite impressive really. Shrugging to himself mentally, Lettuki made the charge to fly in their direct path.
He immediately got struck by a meteor that he didn't bother to look for, taking him off guard. The saiyan's body was crushed against the rock and the force generated by the wind resistance, but for once, his weights were actually useful as his body was falling just slightly faster than the meteor, a testament to how much the saiyan was truly wearing, but it was quite the surprise to even him upon seeing a rough estimated size of how much he was wearing on him most of the time.
Flying back a bit more, Lettuki pushed his hands against the meteorite and allowed his ki to generate around his hands as poured it into the center of the meteor, each amount of energy that spilled into it carved a hole into it from either side and perfectly angled to meet in the center. When the beams connected, it formed a small ball that suddenly begun to enlarge as more energy was being poured into it until finally it would explode outward, all the shards and debris shattered outward, giving Lettuki the time he needed to fly out of the path.
Free from the danger, Lettuki was refreshed and excited for this training, he didn't expect them to have such weight to them and to move that fast, it was a fun surprise. This time as he charged forward into the meteor shower, he had looked to ensure no meteors were about to slam into him and he managed to zip by the nearest one and get directly in the center of the oncoming meteorites.
Finally it was time to take care of the meteors, Lettuki started his training by punching the first meteorite that flew into him, the dense rock had smashed into the saiyan's fist and to Lettuki's surprise the rock only cracked and a small bit and once again he was crushed against another meteor.
Damning himself and shaking his hand in pain, Lettuki briefly considered using the same method to break the meteorite, but ultimately decided to destroy it physically like he had initially planned. Putting his hands together and forming a fist with the two of them, Lettuki smashed against the meteorite, causing more cracks to appear on the meteor and attempted it once more, causing some of the meteor to shatter apart, some of the pieces flying off in random places. Taking this as a sign of progress, Lettuki attempted the same maneuver again, causing even more to break apart and he could feel the meteor falling apart, just needed one final strike and it would break apart with ease. Gathering his strength, Lettuki once again slammed down on the meteor, causing it to break in half.
Lettuki put his hands between the split and ripped the meteor apart, letting the two halves fly over in to separate directions while the saiyan focused on the next meteorite coming right at him at alarming speeds. Thinking quickly, Lettuki flew to the left the giant rock and allowed it to harmlessly fly past him, but the next one was already flying at him and he once against leaped to the left. Unlike before, Lettuki was pinned against an oncoming meteor, unaware of his surroundings yet again, this was far more trickier than he had anticipated.
Annoyed, Lettuki once again smashed his hands against the meteor, coating his hands in ki a small amount to give his attack's an extra punch to it, a simple technique but it was barely noticeable as it was, too sloppy and unrefined. But Lettuki had too many ideas to work on techniques, but right now he wanted to focus on another power he had heard about long ago, something he had always considered a bit dangerous to even him, but he wanted to master it for the tourney, it would help him get by without his omen, assuming anyone could even challenge him.
Getting his mind back to the problem at hand, Lettuki once again slammed his hands down, cracking the meteor a fair amount, but this time instead of letting his ki remain coated around his hands, he instead poured his ki into the opening and much like before the meteor would explode from the inside out, sending pieces of it scattering in random directions. Free once again, Lettuki flew forward, meeting the next meteor that seemed small and smashed it by slamming down on it, sending the debris away in every direction.
Lettuki begun to power up further as he rushed forward to the next small meteorite, choosing to dodge and weave between the larger meteors as he did so with some ease, but there was more close calls than he'd like to admit. Finally, Lettuki made it to the small meteorite and delivered a swift and powerful kick to the meteor, not shattering it as he expected but instead sent of back a bit and off course, pieces of it flying off in random directions as it flew away, the impact of the kick causing quite some damage to it.
Shrugging to himself, Lettuki flew by another meteorite, managing to graze his leg a small bit, but not really slowing him down enough for the second one to land a direct hit on the saiyan, instead it merely scraped across his chest rather quickly. If it wasn't for the weights, it probably would've cut the saiyan judging from the amount of force he felt across it and the tear over the fabric shielding the weights, but he didn't have time to send a quick "screw you" blast at the meteor. Or did he? Lettuki immediately gathered energy into his palm and fired off a straight beam of his ki into the meteor, completely engulfing the rock and vaporizing it with ease.
Lettuki had a smirk on his face as he was proud of destroying it without getting hit by any more meteors, but he should've turned around to make sure as soon as he finished destroying it and admiring his handiwork, he found a meteor crashing into his back and once gain he was caught between a rock and a hard place. Lettuki couldn't use his previous method of slamming his fists into it or drill toward the center and then explode from the inside like he had done before, no, he'd have to try something a bit different. Lettuki placed his feet against the meteor, prepared to launch himself off of it, but as he did so, he begun to charge up an attack in his hands, a simple beam attack to destroy the meteorite.
Readying himself, the saiyan would leap from the meteor, turning around and firing the beam of energy into the meteor that would vaporize the rock and take out many pieces of other meteors coming his way, effectively giving him the perfect opening to breathe and ready himself for the next set of meteors coming by.
Wiping some sweat off his forehead, Lettuki was going to start to get more serious with his training, he had been too slow and not taking this as serious as he should've been. Despite it's rather stupid concept it was quite the work out for even the berserker who was getting annoyed by the meteors that struck him harder than anyone he has been hit by before. Lettuki put his hands outward, his palms facing upward and he begun to generate his orbs, deciding to use the newest variation he learned with the help of Vuoto.
The explosively charged orbs hovered around the saiyan, a good 75 orbs for him to direct as he pleased. Grinning, Lettuki mapped out his planing for each orb, wanting to destroy as much as the meteors as he could to create a temporary stop of the meteor shower, it would be impressive to pull off such a feat and Lettuki was certain even with the weights on that he could handle that with ease.
Finally the saiyan had the perfect route with his rough estimations for how much orbs would be needed to destroy the meteors and make it seem like it was ending a bit early tonight for even just a few seconds. The saiyan simply crossed his arms and let the orbs fly off to their intended target, nearly splitting all of them equally to the right and left of him as he watched his planning play out in front of him.
The first orb on his right would explode against a small meteorite, badly damaging it, but the 2 follow ups would finish the mission of vaporizing it, 7 other orbs would land against the a rather large meteor and cause it to split in two, the two halves were followed up with 5 orbs and left no trace of it, finally the large one, 18 orbs would be sent against it all at once from slight changes of angles to the best of the saiyan's abilities at the moment. Thankfully he timed it right and the meteor vanished as well.
On the other side, the first orb on would explode against the largest meteor of the whole group, followed by 24 of the orbs all hitting it in different angles and different times, once again to the best of the saiyan's abilities with timing and planning. Thankfully it too vanished. 6 orbs would explode on a decently sized meteor and make it disappear as with the others and 3 would crash against a small one, the same number used to explode a similarly sized meteorite.
To the people watching the meteor shower, the streaks of light would suddenly come to an abrupt stop and to those watching with a telescope they'd be able to see the meteors suddenly disappear with what appears to be an explosion of some sort. Lettuki could only smirk at the reward of his effort, a sudden stop all thanks to the powerful explosive energy orbs, it cost him quite a lot of power and left him feeling drained of his energy, but he was proud pulling it off.
Lettuki sighed as he the meteorites flew past him once again, the meteors were rather close but Lettuki was capable dodging at a leisure pace trying to catch his breath from the attack he had just pulled off. Or so he thought, he weaved between two meteorites at first, the first scrapping past his side, specifically his arm and leg, the next one had crashed into his shoulder and sent him sprawling down a fair amount before stopping himself.
He was unaware that he had stopped himself on the path of an oncoming meteor that crashed into the tired saiyan, dragging him down again. Lettuki could only grit his teeth as he begun to smash into the meteor once more, trying to break through the meteor so he can keep training, this wasn't enough as it was, he had only broke so little and pushed himself too little, he had more training to do with the limited time he had to use this method, he was unaware of how often a meteor shower actually occurred, but he could only assume it was quite rare since the humans had an alert about this and told others as well.
With a roar, Lettuki slammed his fists down on the meteor and shattered it, rushing forward, Lettuki elbowed into the next meteor, cracking it in half in a precise strike before moving onto the next one, a smaller one and delivered a swift kick in a downward swing, not breaking it but getting it out of his way, he had no time to train with such useless things. Lettuki would then send off a beam of energy toward yet another meteor, taking out half of it and would follow up his attack by slicing it in half by coating his hand in ki then forming the ki into a sharp blade, a small technique Lettuki had been working on and it had worked as much as he expected, barely cutting and relying more on the raw strength and force it was struck with.
Lettuki pulled back his hand from the half sliced meteorite half and charged a ki orb before firing it off right into the center, breaking it apart with ease. He was determined to make the most of his training and nothing would get in his way, even his own half baked techniques wouldn't stop him.
Rushing forward once again, Lettuki charged ki into his hands and slammed his hands down on the next meteor, letting his energy shoot into the meteor and shattering it from the inside once more. It was his favorite method to destroy the methods, they made such a wonderful show as they blew apart. The next one was a bit faster than he expected so he dodged to the right and fired off a quick beam of energy into the side of it, taking out a rather large chunk of the meteor with it.
Not really having the time to worry about that, Lettuki rushed forward once again and immediately punched another meteor, his fist connecting deeply into the center before the saiyan allowed his ki to generate from his hand and explode outward, causing Lettuki to his face with his free hand as the pieces flew off in random directions and pelting his body a small bit. Shaking his hand, Lettuki flew around the next meteor and sent a quick blast toward it as soon as he was around, quickly turning around to send off the beam of energy toward it.
Thankfully when he turned back around it was just a small meteor about to hit him, so he simply head butted the thing away from himself, a bit painful but Lettuki needed the force to destroy it and being hit with it only for it to float off would be a little silly. But then again Lettuki was floating around in the atmosphere punching, dodging and blowing up a bunch of space rocks as his new way of training when he has a perfectly fine gravity chamber laying around. Shrugging to himself, Lettuki resumed his training, not having the time to question his choices that brought him to head butting a space rock.
The saiyan was more than ready for the next one as it approached him, it was fairly large, so it would be interesting to explode it, but he couldn't do it up close, no the remains would without a doubt be too large for him dodge or just shake off like he done with the other times he explode meteors from the inside, no he'd need to destroy it from a small distance. Lettuki put his hands together, leaving an sphere shaped between the two hands for the ki to gather.
Lettuki was going to use his move, Berserk Wave, it would be fairly simple just destroy the rather impressively sized meteor in a single swoop, he had done it before, however as he charged the attack he realized just how little ki he actually had after all the stuns he pulled, the adrenaline only served to make him blind to his resources. Gritting his teeth he realized it was far too late to dodge and he'd have to hope the remaining ki would be enough to destroy the meteor. Letting the beam go, he kept pouring in the orbs at the base of the beam, waiting for it to hit the target.
Finally it hit the meteor and he let the orbs travel up the beam and finally exploding into a large beam to engulf the meteor in his energy as he poured all the ki he had left into the attack until he felt his limit approaching, he couldn't keep up the attack, not without removing his ability to fly, which at this height was rather dangerous to even a saiyan like himself.
Letting the attack fade away, Lettuki was disappointed to see the attack was still there, that simply won't do, Lettuki flew toward it and begun to smash down on it, attempting to destroy the remains with his bare fist out of an irrational anger at himself for getting so careless that he was nearly crushed by something that should've been so easily avoidable. The meteorite was split into multiple pieces but it was still there, a mark of his failure passing him by. Frustrated Lettuki could only glare at the remains as it flew on down, he was pissed off at letting himself get carried away, if he couldn't control himself as a regular saiyan, how could he hope to contain the madness that was his Omen form? Or better yet, when he finally reached the conclusion to the Omen, the legendary super saiyan?
A mad man is still a man despite the power he could possess, he'd need to use that power precisely, he needed to use his Omen precisely, right now he was only steering the chaos, he needed to control it, make it bow to him, if he cannot tame himself, how could he tame others? It was pointless to try and hope for the best when he was practically insane during the transformation, the key to his higher power, the key to the throne.
His inner monologue was cut short as he got struck by another meteor from behind, making the saiyan roar in rage as he realized he once again failed to maintain control of himself, it was frustrating. Turning around, Lettuki saw the meteorite was fairly large and would without a doubt crush the saiyan to death if he allowed it to remain on top of him, but most importantly, he couldn't crawl away from it, it would take far too long, he'd crash against the earth before he could escape. The only other option was punching his way through, but it was too large for that as well, no, it seemed he'd have to destroy with a blast.
A blast he couldn't produce.
Lettuki roared in pure anger, about to enter his Omen state as his muscles begun to twitch and his hair briefly flickered up with the output of energy, but as quick as it came it passed. No, he was no weakling that relied solely on his cheap transformation, he was a strong saiyan warrior that wasn't defined by his genetic lottery providing him power. Gritting his teeth yet again, Lettuki begun thinking, looking for a solution to this problem that wouldn't rely on the Omen.
He quickly realized he did have another source of energy he could draw from, a rather risky and dangerous one, his own life energy. He had heard many warriors would use their life energy to explode in rather large and powerful explosions on top of their ki supplying the blast as well. He would simply have to mimic the attack, but without any ki to supplement his attack.
Breathing deeply, Lettuki put his palms against the meteor and begun to focus on drawing forth his life energy, feeling something gathering at his hands and making him a bit more tired, but there was nothing happening despite how much he was pouring that mysterious energy into the palms of his hands, instead it felt more like his hands were struggling to contain something, like the energy was trapped by something.
Unsure what was happening, Lettuki attempted to brute force it, only pushing more and more energy into his palms but no results could be seen, it was completely useless. Lettuki looked down to the ground and saw it approaching more rapidly than he'd like it to be, so without any other choice, Lettuki decided his best bet was using his ki and somehow hoping the life energy would pour into the ki to make it stronger and better than what he could do with the small amount of energy he had left.
Lettuki stopped his flight and allowed the ki to move to his palms, lightly coating his palms and suddenly finding the ki increasing in power as the mystery energy he was pouring into his palms were disappearing. It would seem Lettuki had managed to figure out the key to this little trick and started to forcing a lot of his newfound energy into the blast, draining his life energy and making him more tired, but it mattered little as the meteor begun to get filled with the new energy.
Lettuki took this moment to glance behind him and found the earth rather close, scarily close as a matter of fact. Lettuki unleashed a rather large chunk of his life energy into the attack and finally shattered the meteor into multiple pieces as he prepared to crash into the earth at a risky speed.
Lettuki closed his eyes as he prepared to crash against the earth, he had managed to slow himself a fair amount so that it wouldn't kill him,but regardless it was going to hurt quite a lot when he landed on the ground. What a day though, he went go punch some space rocks and nearly killed himself in a rather stupid way all for some power, although how much power he could get from this training remained to be seen as he currently drain of nearly all of his ki and a large portion of his life energy, needless to say it would be a while before his body could get stronger from this training.
He wondered what everyone else would be doing at this time, Vuoto would probably be off sleeping/mediating, Jaci.... He wondered where she had disappeared off to, he beat her down and she disappeared since that day, she was alive and fine at least judging from his ki source. The bug had disappeared not too long after Jaci disappeared. That hybrid... Lettuki was almost certain he was dead, Lettuki tried everything to find him but he just disappeared. Enyo was still training off on Frost, Lettuki could hope she was doing well on her assignment.
Man, maybe it was the fact he was delirious from the sudden drain of energy, but it really seems like Lettuki was quite alone in this universe, only 5 people he could think of. Well there were two people left.... Lettuki could only shake his head upon reaching that thought, he didn't want to think about what ifs and where they ares now. It was pointless.
He had made some friends, two of which he was hoping he could raise and train to one day overtake him and carry on his will, although one thing he'd never admit to anyone is that he was even beginning to look at the two as his own children. Maybe it was just his stupid desire to have his own child with a beautiful wife, the 3 of them living happily on a nice little planet, watching the sunset as they enjoy some cold beverages after a long day of training and work, probably lumber and he'd make sure to train his child while working, probably getting them to hit a log over and over while Lettuki chops the trees with ease.
But that was not a fate he could have, no, he needed to ensure his future wouldn't be taken from him, he needed to make sure the universe could defend against any threats, even if he had to become it's biggest threat. It was melodramatic when he put it like that, but it was what he truly wanted, to be able to just live his life in peace without having to worry about his child or even grand children being too weak to defend themselves, but Lettuki knew no matter the power, numbers would overwhelm any one, so his best solution to that problem was simple, if society as a whole was strong and capable of taking out Lettuki, then they could do the same to any future tyrant.
Lettuki could only sigh as he watched the stars above move faster and faster away, it seemed time was coming to a crawl and he could only enjoy the sight until reality came crashing into him. Life truly was something, he was set down this path merely by seeing how broken the saiyans were. He could've lived at home, with his mom and dad, become a fine general, but no, the half he was born on was weak and pathetic, When he fled, he had found so called "strong and proud" saiyans to be ruthless and arrogant, sparing no thought for the countless civilians they killed.
It made him sick, he was looking for a war and combat, not genocide and murder, he did what he could but it was too small scale, he couldn't cripple the beast from it's legs, no, he'd have to kill the head of the beast and make the remains into something more useful. But as he traveled he quickly realized it was not only the saiyans, no, nearly every planet had done evil in some way.
It would be foolish to expect the universe to work together however, not without force. He'll have to destroy those too arrogant to bow before his new saiyan empire, his first target would have to be Namek, their little war has gone on long enough and their dragon balls could be important to containing any wishes from messing up his plan. His next target would have to be Earth, the humans had a set of their own, although Lettuki might be able to just take out the guardians of the two planets if what he had heard about was to be believed. But it was just a mere rumor and seemed rather stupid for a single person to power the magical power of the dragon balls, however it was still worth a shot.
After removing both sets of dragon balls, his saiyans should be able to still hold on to at least a single ball on Salada and Lettuki could simply over power the Salada half and put an end to yet another endless war. Then? He'd rest and establish control on the 3 planets, he'll need all the strength and man power he could get to over power the PTO and any potential rebellion that would form on the planets. Hopefully by then, Enyo or maybe even Jaci could carry the torch from him and over throw him themselves. Maybe if he survives, maybe he'll finally be able to live in his fantasy world and just simply be forgotten by everyone.
Lettuki closed his eyes with a smile, he was going to make those dreams into a reality some day, he was certain of that much, but for now, it was time to face reality. Lettuki looked back toward the ground, seeing it extremely closed and once again closed his eyes, but this time not to be content, but to brace for the rough landing he'd have to endure, it was one hell of a training session after all.
