Vuoto looked on as Jaci dismissed him, with her surprised he didn’t take the opportunity to help the younger demon when in all reality it was simple; the older demon was not one to interfere in matters not involving himself directly. Perhaps if he had friends, things might be different, but the only near friend was Lettuki.. and whether that was a bad thing or not was to be seen. Yes, perhaps, in another time the two lone demons might have been friends, but it seemed this time was not it, at least not just yet.
Taking his leave, the pale demon would suddenly vanish with a snap of the fingers and the few diamond particles left behind showing that there was once indeed something or someone standing where he was before they too faded like morning dew.
