Vuoto shook his head to clear it when the sudden lull in his strength would reveal a strange sort of arena with glass shards being the only barrier between the void and the necromancer using the mist to remain hidden and leave the pale warrior standing there in this eerie manner as the person spoke, the mist and eyes coming closer which left the demon taking a step back as the revelation of his grandparents to him, tainted by the necromancy and making him bite his lip with a small snarl. Regardless, the snarl began to turn into an afraid step backwards, with his one eye wide in nervousness and choking on his words.
"I.. I.." In fear of getting harmed once again, the demon would suddenly cover himself in a opaque magic sphere that allowed him to drop to his knees without being seen. It seemed the first response the fighter has was to be defensive, as if he'd been abused in the past.
--
The undead fighter rushed forwards, slouched and smiling in that eerie fashion while his eyes were pupiless and glowing yellow. Grabbing the foot and moving to drag Lettuki torwards him, the fighter would try to deck the saiyan in the face and smash them into the ground.
The figure would chuckle to itself as it watched the person move back upon seeing the spirits which it had pulled out from the person, instantly making him break his calm and angry facade. The figure watched from the safety of the void, the only hint it was even around this realm being it's glowing yellow eyes staring down at Vuoto. "Interesting you hide from those who watched you after all this time?" The figure would ask as the 4 figures surrounded the sphere Vuoto made, banging against it. "Let me in Vuoto." One of the male figures whispered. "Please don't leave us Vuoto." A female figure whispered. "Help us Vuoto." Another male figure whispered. "Why are you hiding Vuoto?" The final figure whispered, revealing it was female.
The four figures banged against Vuoto's sphere, attempting to break in. "All that bravado, and this is what you are? A fearful coward?" The figure asked, disgust in it's voice. "Pathetic, to think I thought you could be a challenge. What a fool I was." The figure told Vuoto from it's vantage point.
Back in reality, Lettuki found his kick already stopped the undead warrior in an impressive move of speed, however he was prepared when it pulled him close, he grabbed the warrior's fist and quickly rolled in the air so the momentum from being pulled in and the warrior's attempt to strike at Lettuki would result in the two falling to the ground, Lettuki landing on top.
Should that move work, Lettuki would fly upward and unleash a small barrage of ki blasts at the downed undead warrior, however should the move fail, Lettuki would realize it fail and back off, flying up to the sky and covering his retreat with a barrage of ki blasts. Regardless, Lettuki would stop in the air and look down at the undead warrior. "You're better than I expected, but it'll take more than that to put me down." Lettuki would tell the undead warrior with a grin.
Vuoto was quick to pull up an opaque shield in order to defend himself, on his knees and grabbing both sides of the head on his shoulders and sinking his nails slightly into his smooth hair. Everything was falling apart because of what was happening, with his ancestors crying out for help and for the younger demon to come out and let them in. Shaking in terror and trying to shut out the voices of the people that he had left on a bad note, for the first time in ages he was beginning to let a small trickle of salty tears down his cheeks that left him vulnerable to the sphere's shattering.
To the ancient fighters, it would give them a flashback of when they had seen his father hit him, and leave the demon cowering in fear and the memory of him fleeing would be fresh enough in their minds, the boy they hadn't seen in many years, but he had grown into a handsome man despite being visibly afraid. "N.. No.. don't hurt me please.. please... don't hurt me.." The words that spilled from the frightened demon's mouth were lined with complete terror, though for his relatives all they'd see is the little boy they'd used to love cowering in fear.
---
The undead fighter grunted and was slammed to the ground, getting up quickly to fire his own barrage of energy to explode on contact.
The 4 figure would move toward Vuoto as he cried on the ground in fear, but suddenly stopped before him and they each clutched onto their heads and their eyes slowly flickered. The figure would only watch in interest as the undead it brought suddenly seemed to be resisting far greater than any other spirit it raised before. "Interesting, it would appear they care for you." It would say as it kept observing the events before it. "No matter, they bow to my will now, much like you will if you prove to be as worthless as you present yourself." The figure would tell Vuoto as the 4 figure's eyes would return to their yellow glowing state. "Vuoto..." They would call out to him once again and slowly advancing toward the demon.
However, one of the male figures would stop once more and their eyes would flicker once again. "Vuoto... You..." He would begin to tell him, clearly strained as he clutched his head. "Must... Be... Brave." He'd tell the young demon. "Enough!" The figure would declare as the male would fall to his knees, letting out a scream of pain before falling silent. The male would look back up with his eye's back to the yellow glow and rise back to his feet to walk toward the demon once more. "That one is particularly strong willed, it's impressive really." The figure would tell Vuoto.
As Vuoto fought his inner demons, Lettuki on the other hand was still fighting the undead and blissfully unaware of the demon's troubles, not sensing any decrease or increase in his power. The undead warrior's quick reaction had nearly caught Lettuki over guard, but he decided to rush through the undead's barrage of energy, the saiyan appearing through a cloud of smoke to attempt to plant his knee into the undead's gut.
Should the attack connect, Lettuki would maintain his position on top and fire off a quick beam of energy into the undead's face before flying back and allowing the undead to get back up. However, should the attack miss, Lettuki would fly back, using a beam of energy to prevent the undead from coming toward as he got back to a more comfortable spot. Regardless, Lettuki would take his fighting stance and get ready for the undead's next attack. "Quite the reaction time, but you need more power to properly challenge me." Lettuki commented with a smirk.
Vuoto's fear didn't block out the words, but he looked up once they all let out a scream of pain and recognized the familiar voices. They weren't his father and mother, no, they were his grandparents, the ones that had actually seemed to care for him, and were giving him encouragement in order to face this threat. Alone the four didn't have much strength, but combined with their grandson they all together had might to rival the strongest anyone had seen. The necromancer's mocking of those he cared about tore deep into the demon's heart, causing a sudden boiling over of anger as he knew there was one way to free them from this hold.
"You.. you used them.. you dare use the people I care about against me, you filthy dark arter?" The sudden vicious undertone would be displayed as the fear slowly faded, standing and brushing away the tears Vuoto would suddenly put his hands in front of him and begin to shout a overwhelming purifying incantation in an attempt to free his loved ones from the hold of this ingrate. Should it be successful, he would then move to check up on them before turning towards the necromancer.
"It is one thing to use tricks to win, but using the sacred bond between family and forcing them to turn on one another is a sickening act, even for someone like you. They will never truly be under your control, necromancer. They are not your pawns, and I.. no, we,"
Raising his hands to the sky, a mighty shout would echo and then if it was successful would cause the void aura to slowly come to life. "WILL SHOW YOU THE MIGHT OF THE DEMON REALM! ANCESTORS, COME FORTH, LET US RETURN TO THE WAY WE ONCE WERE AND SHOW THIS BASTARD WHY HE SHOULD FEAR US!" Then beginning to shout another incantation, the emphasis on each word and the power emanating from the fighter would then cause the very void around them to shake, with control of it being taken away from the necromancer and seemingly only making Vuoto himself that much stronger with it's presence.
--
The undead fighter had a quick and aggressive reaction, charging forwards only to get kneed straight in the gut, straight in there and making them gasp for air, getting pierced right in the face which didn't seem to phase them and charged forwards once more.
The glowing yellows eyes Vuoto's ancestors would begin to fade as they screamed in pain during the process until their eyes resumed their natural colour. "Thank you Vuoto." One of the males would say with a slight smirk on his face. "Bless you Vuoto." One of the females would say with a slight bow. "I knew you could do it." The same male that resisted the necromancer's magic would say with a grin. "You did it Vuoto." The final female would say with a smile.
"There's that power I felt earlier, let us see what you're truly capable of mystery man!" The figure would say as it moved forward, it's mist surrounding his figure once again as he begun to approach the glass plane where the events were unfolding, it's yellow glowing eyes once more peaking out from the mist. However with the approach of the demon, it retreated a small amount to watch the next set of spells Vuoto would attempt.
Immediately, the figure would realize what was happening and understand just who and what it was dealing with. "A demon from the demon realm, I see now." It would say with a chuckle. "I've haven't dealt with someone from the demon realm before, let us see what you're capable of demon." It would say as the mist become to expand and move toward Vuoto at a quick pace, all while it laughed.
Vuoto's ancestors however moved toward the demon, each putting an arm on his shoulder. "Let us show this person why demons were locked away!" The first male figure would say as it seemingly merged with the demon, increasing his power and allowing the demon to access a small power of the void aura he used against the human some time ago. "Show this foolish necromancer true power." A female would say as she placed her hand on Vuoto and once again seemingly merged with him, allowing more of the aura to be at Vuoto's disposal. "You got this Vuoto, stay brave." The same male would say with a grin as he placed his arm on Vuoto's shoulder and merged with Vuoto, once more giving him more access to the aura. "I believe in you Vuoto." The final female would say before placing her hand on Vuoto and merging with him to give him full access to the aura.
"Interesting, so they do have some connection to you... But what do they do within you?" The figure would ask as it's mist would start to surround Vuoto and slowly move in toward the demon. "Regardless, I do believe this will be an interesting duel demon, let's see who shall win in this little game of ours, shall we?" It would ask as it laughed, it's mist completely surrounding the demon now.
As the two magicians prepared for their duel, Lettuki would find himself surprised at the undead's resilience, having recovered from the beam to the face and instead charged forward mindlessly. "Brave, but foolish." Lettuki would only comment as he attempted to kick the undead's gut and spun around to try and give him a powerful backhand.
Vuoto's magical power had been enough to purify his grandparents of the accursed spell they were put under by this filthy mage, and after the thanks from the ones he cared about each one of them gave him their strength and lead to his summoning of the void aura in it's entirety. The mocking of the demon realm fighter was not to be taken lightly any longer, though the demented smile and tilt of the head would reveal the very illusion they were in was beginning to tremble under the might of the fighter, of whom was managing to dispel the mist that tried to touch the aura and froze it, causing the ice to creep up the misty wave towards the necromancer while Vuoto simply looked on with that deranged grin.
"Interesting? You have messed with the wrong person.. we.. we will terminate your excuse of an existence." The pale fighter's voice would begin to echo, and the void itself would leap forwards to attempt to suffocate the necromancer in it's bone chilling grasp with a single demonic shout.
--
Getting hit again and being sent rolling from both strikes, the undead fighter's form would spaz out slightly as if a static television screen as it laid there; the connection between him and his master being severed majorly by Vuoto's might.
The figure would only watch the ice crawl up the mist, it's yellow eyes remaining still as the ice begun to approach it. "What an interesting power you have there, but your mental state seems to be rather... Broken when you're in this state. Truly interesting." The figure would comment, still calm despite the ice that was dangerously close to itself. Suddenly with the leap of the void itself, the figure's glowing yellow eyes would disappear into the void, seeming being swallowed by the void.
For a while all was calm, the frozen mist would retain it's shape and the figure was seemingly gone, but suddenly more mist would surround the demon, none of the mist would be touching the demon however and should he try and move toward it, the mist would only move away, always out of reach. "Such a unique and interesting power... I look forward to your progress demon." The figure's voice would comment, seemingly from nowhere. "But nonetheless, let's test your power now, shall we?" It would say as suddenly from the mist, some ice shards would be launched at the demon, followed quickly by a gust of flames coming from below the demon.
Regardless of the attacks would land or not, suddenly two warriors would appear and rush at Vuoto, one firing off a beam at the demon and the other up close to fire off multiple small ki blasts at him, the two were quite strong but half of the demon's strength at the moment. As the two warriors blasted at the demon, more ice shards would be sent at the demon from the mist, the mist acting as cover for the attacks and the two undead warriors attacking Vuoto.
Meanwhile, Lettuki sighed as looked at the downed body of the undead. "So much for a challenge... Didn't even have to take off my weights." Lettuki would comment as he charged his Berserk Wave and unleashed it at the body, attempting to disintegrate it.
The deranged grin was a deceiving one, for Vuoto's mental state was simply being shared between his allies and defaulted to that ominously placed facial expression. The frozen mist would simply grow, and combined with the leap of the void itself it still yet wasn't over. The interest this figure took in the powerful demon was rightfully placed, for there was no one or few who had the ability to control the void itself other than this fighter the necromancer doomed themselves to face. The ice shards would shatter on contact with the aura, and the flames would be stuck below the ground only to be instead turned and brought up against the figure. "It's over, we command the very elements to our will! Even the void bows to our power, necromancer!" With a faint hand motion, Vuoto would disappear and reappear behind one of the warriors to use them as a now frozen meat shield against the ki blasts being fired, before throwing them at the remaining fighter and then beginning to release more of his power to the point the illusion reality in their minds would start to quake because it seemed the demon was absorbing the void to become stronger still.
"Hm... How interesting, you can teleport with ease." The figure's voice would comment from seemingly nowhere. "Seems like you countered the test shots with ease as well, plus your strength keeps increasing, it's almost as if you're drawing power from the void." The figure would comment as it's laugh would begin to echo through the endless void. "Such an interesting power you have there, your energy seems to even shaking this little illusion, most impressive demon!" It would comment as it laughed some more.
"Let us test your power a bit more, shall we?" It would tell Vuoto as suddenly an oddly glowing ice shard would be sent at him, followed by a small barrage of tiny ice crystals would be sent at the demon, all of them glowing the same as the first one. All the attacks would be sent from different angles and covered by the mist until the last second. Followed by that, the one remaining warrior would fire off a barrage of ki beams that split into multiple narrow small beams and all aimed to collide at the demon's location.
Meanwhile, Lettuki would only look the smothering remains of the undead warrior before sighing. "Such a disappointment." Lettuki would tell the remains before taking up to the air and flying toward Vuoto's ki that still showed no sign of change. As he entered into the mist, he noticed the glowing yellow eyes watching him yet remaining silent, only watching Lettuki move toward the demon. When Lettuki finally got to the demon, he found his body standing perfectly still, like he hasn't moved since Lettuki left the demon.
"Vuoto?" Lettuki would ask the demon as he placed a hand on the demon's shoulder before lightly shaking him and waving his free hand in front of the demon, yet no use there. "Vuoto, you okay?" Lettuki would ask the demon. "It's pointless saiyan..." The figure would tell Lettuki as it laughed. "What did you do?" Lettuki would ask as he turned toward the figure with an orb of ki ready to attack. "A simple illusion, yet surprisingly hard to break once you're in." It would explain as it snickered. "I grow tired of both of you, I under estimated you and over estimated the demon, quite a surprise to even me." The figure would explain as it's eyes would move toward Lettuki, who remained calm and staring into the figure's eyes, readying to attack the moment he felt anything around change.
The demon's might was causing the alternate reality to tremble, with the swift step leaving the two that had tried to attack to hit each other and kill them, and leave Vuoto himself unharmed. The echo bounced off of the walls of the void arena, with the demon taking a step closer only to be bombarded with ice shards that he could feel were coming. Before they could leave the mist, the attack would be swiftly redirected right towards the location of the eyes with even quicker speed, the walls of the illusion starting to crack and the ground below them to shake.
"There is a reason why I was named after the void. I and it are one in the same, it empowers me. You have no power any longer, give up and we may spare you from a gruesome demise."
Vuoto's hand twitched in the real world, his body cold and eyes staring blankly into the sky almost as if he was dead because the cloak concealed the slow rise and fall of the fighter's chest.
"Such an interesting little demon you are... I'd love to test your powers even further, but it appears our little duel must come to an end." The figure would say, it's form still hidden away. "I do look forward to the next time we meet demon, farewell!" The figure would say as it begun to laugh, the illusion finally shattering around the demon as it slowly allowed him to regain consciousness.
Meanwhile in reality, the mist around the two warriors would begin to fade away, the figure's glowing eyes would still be watching Lettuki. "You're strong saiyan, I can feel you have yet to show your true power however." It would state, the mist fading away and the eyes moving further back alongside the mist. "The two of you are an interesting group, I'll be watching you two, I can assure you two of that much." The figure said as it begun to laugh, slowly fading away as the mist moved at nearly unnatural speed and leaving the saiyan's sight.
Lettuki couldn't even sense the necromancer as it made it's escape and he briefly considered giving chase, Lettuki decided against it to awaken the demon that brought him here. "Now... How the hell do I wake you up?" Lettuki would ask out loud, unaware the demon was finally breaking free from the illusion. After a brief pause to think, Lettuki went with the first option that went in his mind, punching the demon right across the face.
The illusion they were in was shattering before their eyes, with the shattering of the spell causing the man to fall out of the aura and back into his physical conscious form. Judging by how chilled the demon was, it seemed as if he was already dead, but instead the punch caused him to let out a loud roar of pain and snap out of it, flinging the brute away with a retaliatory spell and droplets of blood to drip onto the show. Through the bangs that hid the scar, it would be a vivid red against the pale purple hair and indicate that the demon was indeed bleeding and judging by the scowl, in a lot of pain.
Holding the scar and swearing in demonic tongue, one hand appeared from underneath the cloak and with that Vuoto simply disappeared, in a retaliatory action caused by the punch which seemed to be a flight response trigger.
