Today wasn't an ideal day to train as the rain poured hard and the wind howled into the darkened day, the only lighting in the dark clouds were the occasional lighting bolt that came and went quickly. The saiyan however had needed to maintain his strength, he couldn't allow himself to be pushed as hard as the bug did, he even had to risk using the Omen in a crowded city. Had the bug not fallen quickly, he worried he would've caused needless destruction to the city in the long run. Not only that, but even the weaker ones provided a challenge, Lettuki couldn't counter any of the attacks the hybrid was pushing out, he needed a more focused ki beam to contest against the half breed's "Cannonade" attack and to develop his own combo to counter the half saiyan's strange combo that seemed to have the extra weight put behind them.
He had set up the dummy outside of the cave to allow his "guest" time to recover and so he can properly develop the new techniques and contest with the more even warriors. Assuming he could find anymore warriors capable of contesting his strength, even Lettuki had to admit his strength was exceeding even his own exceptions, it was impressive. Lettuki took his fighting pose, his right arm extended outward in front of him and bent at the elbow to put his fist upward in front of his face. His body hunched over to allow his left arm to guard most of his body as it was tucked in to his gut area to allow for a quick strike or to guard in case his initial layer of defense was broken through. And finally, his feet evenly spaced and planted firmly into the ground to prevent balancing issues and to avoid being pushed off balance as well.
He studied the dummy carefully, he knew it was unable of attacking back, but he had to train his eyes to be sharp as possible, even the most subtle dents in the dummy had become apparent to Lettuki as he studied the dummy more and more, nearly daily now. Suddenly at an rather impressive speed considering the weights he was wearing, Lettuki flew forward and planted his left fist into the dummy's gut and moved quickly behind it to deliver a swift kick across the back of it's head, making it shift to the right thanks to both the power and the weighted boots adding an extra pack to his kick. Lettuki continued his combo by dropping to the ground while spinning with his leg out to swipe the dummy's pole out of the ground to follow the combo with an upper cut to the falling dummy, landing where the dummy's face would've been. Lettuki gave chase to the now flying dummy, stopping it by clasping his hands together into a fist and dropping it down onto the dummy's back and finally ended it by planting his knee firmly into the dummy's back again after dropping down at an extreme speed thanks to the extra weight from the weighted clothing he was wearing.
With the attack finished Lettuki flew back to the ground, the rain had made the move easier as the ground was more slippery and weak, it allowed for the dummy to move during the kick and to be easily swept out of the ground, it should've been more harder than this. Regardless, the combo was good, but still not good enough, he needed to be quicker while dropping but still needed the force needed to sweep his enemy off their feet. He could try a regular kick, but it would be costly if the enemy refused to budge. But what is a warrior except for adaptability?
The saiyan reset the dummy back to normal and in more solid ground, he doubted it wouldn't remain in it's spot if he repeated the combo the same way, but this time he'd assume the dummy wouldn't budge after the saiyan dropped down. Lettuki entered his fighting pose again, ready to strike and resumed his study of the dummy. A new dent appeared in the dummy's face, it was reassuring, he was doing enough damage to make a dent into it permanently, but he was sure he could match it with the revised version. Assuming he could think of one. It was quite a lot of possibilities that he could do, like he could attempt a simple rising upper cut, but that would probably not get him the height he desired, he needed them to go flying as high as possible so when he fell down on them with his knee it would hurt them.
With a new idea, Lettuki rushed forward once again, striking the dummy where it's gut would be and zipping behind the dummy to kick it across the back of it's head, once again making it shift to the right, but regardless Lettuki dropped to the ground while spinning, but as he spun downward, he stopped just short of hitting the pole keeping the dummy in place and instead fell to his back, his hands planting into the dirt due to the intense weight being focusing on a small surface area. Still, Lettuki crunched his body into a small ball shape, adding more weight and digging his hands into the ground further. Suddenly he jolted his legs outward to kick the dummy in the back of it's head, launching the dummy up much higher than the upper cut did in his original combo. He then repeated flying up and knocking the enemy with a hammer fist and finishing the combo with a knee drop. Proud of that variant should his strike fail, he lifted the dummy back up and planted it back into more solid ground.
This time however, Lettuki chose to examine the dummy more closely, he noticed the new dent on the back of the dummy's head and to his surprise, it seemed to imply the kick was stronger than the current combo he was using. Wanting to test it one final time, Lettuki resumed his fighting pose, examining the dents that kept adding up. This time, he was going to go all out and deal as much damage as he could to the dummy. While as much damage as he could while wearing these weights, he had no desire to stop his training to test out his attack for real, he was almost certain he could pull it off without the weights. He could even argue he would perform better without the weights doing their job and weighing him down. Regardless, Lettuki rushed forward and delivered a blow to the dummy's gut, spinning around and kicking the dummy's head, this time it nearly came loose from the ground. Undeterred however, Lettuki dropped to the ground, planting his hands deeply into the ground once again, followed by crunching his body into a small shape and then launched himself forward as a spring into back of the dummy's head. The kick sent the dummy flying upward an impressive amount, only for it's flight to be stopped by Lettuki slamming it down with a hammer fist, making a small impact crater, which impressed Lettuki. There was no time to admire his work just yet, Lettuki dropped down, knee first and actually made the dirt fly up around the dummy and increase the impact site.
"That will work." Lettuki told himself, he even knew what kinda of attack to call it, "Berserker Rush" Lettuki told himself with a smirk, he liked the idea of using this move to go all out on an enemy in terms of physical skill and while he had many ideas of how to improve his attacks and even combine a few of them, he needed to focus on developing a way to counter beam attacks with one of his own, He wasn't a fan of using ki, but he found himself needing to hit those long range cowards quickly than flying toward them each and every time, although it was satisfying to hit one of those coward with his Justice's Spear up close, seeing their fear as the spear took one of their arms clean off.
Lettuki begun to get started on his ki training, first thing he had to do was set up a strange attachment, the people from the store had said this will allow people to use ki attacks on the dummy by generating a small ki protective coating. Lettuki wasn't really listening when they explained how the device works, but they warned him against hooking up to himself since that ki wasn't naturally formed from himself it would blow up on contact with him. The saiyan knelt down and pulled the pole out of the ground, clipping the device around the pole and then planting the pole back into the ground with device. He wasn't entirely too sure if he had done it right, so he carefully extended his hand outward to touch the dummy. Upon contact with the dummy, Lettuki felt a sting and quickly pulled his finger back, examining it and ensuring it was an actual ki burn and not some sort of small animal attempting to attack him. To his relief it was indeed a ki burn and it meant the device was working as intended.
With all the preparations taken care of, Lettuki flew back a fair distance and resumed his fighting pose. Again, he studied the dummy, this time however he noticed it was smoking every so lightly as the rain felt onto the ki coating, he could even hear the sizzling coming from the dummy. He never really noticed it before but it made sense, ki was always hot to touch, so it would stand to reason rain would simply sizzle and fade upon contact with it, turning into the smoke Lettuki was seeing. It was a pleasant sight and noise.
Right now however, Lettuki needed to train, so he quickly brought his two hands together and left a small opening between his hands, almost like he was holding an invisible ball. He focused the ki into the space between his two hands, letting his green ki form into the ball shape, as he did so the ki begun to swirl into a spiral shape, rapidly spinning in the saiyan's hand and even briefly lashing out from the openings between Lettuki's two hands. He was attempting to condense the attack into as small as a shape as possible and it seemed to be resisting his efforts. With pure determination and strength Lettuki maintained the dense ki ball that was struggling to break free and he finally unleashed the attack into the dummy. The attack went straight forward and encompassed the dummy completely.
The attack kept going, far past his target and into the forest, leaving a small trail of destruction behind it. It was impressive, but it wasn't the effect Lettuki wanted, he wanted to maintain the small condensed attack so when it came into contact with enemy beams or the enemy themselves it would do as much damage as possible on impact. If it did it was now, it would hurt, but not to the degree Lettuki wanted it to, the pain would come from the ongoing onslaught of being surrounded in enemy ki. He wanted to hurt the enemy by punching them with the ki and then the onslaught.
The dummy itself, was mostly fine, it was seemed to have held up perfectly fine, the ki coating must've been far better than expected, they said it could stand up to a power level of 50 thousand, but he doubted it would. He wonder what his power level was actually. He never checked it in a long while, scouters were common but useless to Lettuki, he could feel the relative strength of enemies based on his own strength, so he had no worries about picking up a scouter any time soon.
Lettuki again resumed his fighting pose, studying the dummy once more and listening to the light sizzle coming from the dummy. The wind was howling against the dark clouds, only to be silenced by the loud booms of thunder and lighting striking the ground. Suddenly, Lettuki brought his hands together again and charged his ki into a condensed ball once more. The ki kept lashing out between the openings, it wanted to expand, but Lettuki didn't want it to. He had to find a solution to this. Lighting struck the ground in front of him rather suddenly, the flash of light blindly him temporarily and in a fit of pure instinct he unleashed the attack toward the dummy.
The attack started roughly, the extra ki unfocused and split randomly a short distance outward, but the attack itself went forward and upon hitting the dummy expanded and consumed the dummy once again. That was the exact effect Lettuki wanted in his attacks, although if it was effective was up for him to find out. With the attack gone and an smaller path of destruction carved into the surrounding area, Lettuki walked up to the dummy to examine it a bit more.
To his surprise, it had a new dent in the leather where the blast must've struck it, but still, it wasn't as powerful as it could've been, he released it prematurely and allowed some of the attack to "leak" in different directions. Returning to his original position and stance, Lettuki allowed his ki to flare up and he closed his hands once more. The ki was still lashing out, even more than before, but Lettuki still put more power into the attack. This time, when Lettuki unleashed his attack, he held back a considerable about of ki at his palms, making two small orbs appear in front of the saiyan.
As the attack closed in on the dummy, Lettuki allowed all the power he held back to travel forward, sending a large pulse of ki to the front that managed to trike the dummy before encompassing it completely and creating a larger trail of creation as the attack went forward past it's target, fading out eventually. With the attack perfected, Lettuki examined the dummy once again, seeing a bigger dent just above the small one from the first attempt. "This will do, I'll call it the "Berserk Wave" or something." Lettuki said out loud to himself as he pulled the dummy from the ground. turning the device off and taking it off. "That's enough training for today, I don't want to get too ahead of the hybrid, it'd be no fun." Lettuki told himself with a small laugh.
