If anybody knew a saiyan warrior down to their core they would know that there was two things they all loved the most and this was fighting, training and food. You see, fighting was a given as their entire race was build on the foundations of it, they bred warriors for the purpose of conquering planets and selling them, this mindset had created some of the strongest warriors known to the universe in history and it surely was going to end anytime soon. Athren firmly believed that the saiyan warriors would continue to produce the best warriors throughout the years to come. Through training the saiyan's would hone their skills to become the best fighters on a power level scale and on a professional scale as well. The more they fought, the more experience they would add to their knowledge base on fighting. Though training and fighting had come hand in hand, food was equally as important to a saiyan. You see, all the fighting and training they did they had massive diets that would put a normal human restaurant out of food for a night. The endless plates that would rack up over the course of an hour was unbelievable but in this case, it was the one thing that brought Athren to go out on his very own adventure. Usually it would've been Kira that dragged Athren out on some kind of adventure but not this time, this time he was taking the initiative himself and it was for a very curious reason.
At this point in time Athren would've been sitting on the couch in his heavy weighted training gear destroying a massive amount of food that he whipped up. The coffee table in front of him was full of plates, half of them were already empty and the other half was still full. He was going through it all so quickly with the television on, today's program would've been Z-Television. It was a news broadcast, one that Athren had never watched before but that wasn't saying much for he wasn't a television guy to begin with. He never watched TV on his own, typically he only caught parts of it if Kira was in the house but this time he simply turned it on to eat his meal. As he was watching it, something specific had caught his attention. It wasn't a tournament advertisement and it wasn't an advertisement on the latest Red Ribbon training equipment. It was something much more interesting, it was something that would've given Athren the opportunity to go do something with his day while meeting a potentially strong person. Of course, this might've just been speculation but he could've hoped.. Right? I mean, what more would a saiyan have wanted for a day? A good fight, some good food and a solid training session seemed to be about everything he needed for himself. As he hammered down the food rapidly the news had gotten his attention, it was to the point where he stopped eating completely and just stared into the television.
The news reporter came onto the screen live from a small village somewhere in the eastern continent. "This just in, we've got reports of a strange man attacking the locals that travel the path through Bamboo Forest!" It was at this point that the reporter pointed back towards the forest that was in the background. "We've heard from the locals that this has happened multiple times this week, luckily everybody has survive the attack and we've heard from some of the survivors! The culprit is told to always be wearing some kind of high tech battle armor, has black hair, pitch black eyes and is said to have a brown tail!" At this point the reporter raised his voice to act surprised. "All of the reports from the survivor have stated the exact same thing! If you're planning on traveling this week, it's highly recommended that you avoid Bambo--" It was at this point that the television had turned off.
Athren had the remote in his hand with his finger fresh off the off button, a large smirk had crossed over his face as he arched his brow curiously. "So, there's a saiyan attacking randoms at Bamboo forest. Huh?" He questioned himself aloud as he thought about the scenario for a moment. "Sounds.. fun." He figured this would've been a good opportunity to fight somebody strong and to get a good training session in. He couldn't pass up on this at all, he needed to go but first.. he needed to finish his meal. It was at this point that he started hammering back his food even faster. The full plates began to empty quickly and before he knew it he was completely done and the table was full of all his dirty dishes, which he would've picked up later for he had much more pressing things to worry about at this point.
In all honesty he couldn't help but feel a little bit excited, this could've been a real fight. One that could cost him his life. His heart started to race at just the thought of it, his blood pumping through his veins even quicker now. He might've been a hybrid but his saiyan genes always shined brightly, he loved to fight and he couldn't help but look forward to this. Getting up off the couch he would've made his way to the front door and left his little capsule home, his ocean blue eyes looked up into the sky as he through about blasting off towards the forest to start looking for this fighter. Before he did though, he had a quick second thought that wouldn't have taken much time. He was going to find a victim in the small village and ask for further details, ones that would actually improve his chances of finding and fighting this saiyan. After all, if he was going to do this he had to do it right. He didn't want to waste his time.
