The Bug meets the Berserker (Complete)

Despite having lived here for a few months, Lettuki rarely explored the Earth, instead he found himself training often and as hard as he could despite the lack of proper equipment. The only time he didn't train was to track down and fight the few notable warriors this planet hosted, which lead him to this place. Gingertown, a small town close to the big city called West City. He had decided the small town would be a fine place to try and find his next future opponent, it was small, yet close enough for him to be able to scan West City and Gingertown at the same time, it would be easier to spot stronger warriors against the weak population as well. 

As Lettuki hovered over the town, looking down at the general population go about their day, so far his results were providing him with some above average results, but nothing too noteworthy. It was rather disappointing, even while he flew by West City the results were just above average, he needed something actually good, something that will provide him a challenge, something to make his saiyan blood boil in the heat of combat once again. But at last, nothing was standing out to him, against his current opponents he would have a spar, almost like all his other battles, but for once, he wanted someone to actually test him. It was frustrating to Lettuki, he had came here seeking strong warriors and yet he found no such thing, it was a sub par world, he'd probably have better luck surviving on Frost 97.

But suddenly, he noticed a rather abnormal ki source near a fading one, it was strange, it wasn't as if the fading was dying, no, it was too fast, but it wasn't a murder either, it was too slow. Lettuki started to slowly make his way toward the source that was seemingly getting stronger as the weaker one faded. It was odd, but Lettuki knew this strong source would be exactly what he wanted. 

Before he could get to the source however, it had begun to move an the weaker source was completely gone. Lettuki sped to where the weaker source was initially and looked around, noting that there was just clothes abandoned in the alleyway. The strong source had moved off elsewhere and seemed to have lowered it's power, but Lettuki had an idea where it went off to. Deciding to leave the tails, Lettuki walked where the source went before fading off into the blur of weaklings. 

As he walked down the street, attempting to feel out the strong source that seemed to only be revealing it's strength while it did something with the weaklings. What it was doing or why it chose to hide was a mystery to the saiyan, but it should be a good fight if it accepts to fight. Suddenly, he felt a similar ki to the strong one once again, this time it was far weaker and hiding in an alleyway. Lettuki walked into the alleyway, looking around and wondering where exactly the source was.

Lettuki was taken back by the appearance of what appeared to be a bug launching right at him, but it still wasn't going to knock of his defensive game, had the bug attempted to attack, he would've back handed the creature into the wall, but it instead backed off for whatever reason and seemed to be examining the saiyan. Lettuki took this moment to study the strange bug, it had a tail and biological armor similar to that of a changeling, but it's face was rather strange, two slits for pupils studied the saiyan and the mouth was more like a beak without any noticeable opening for it's mouth. At least until it started to mutter to itself. The bug had a lot of similarities to the changelings the more Lettuki looked at it, even having what Lettuki could only assume to be a gem and horns that also appeared to be covered in the same biological armor that was covering most of the creature, it even had ears somewhat similar to the changelings.

With so much similar to changelings, Lettuki could only decide that this was some sort of biological experiment to mimic the changelings that had gone incredibly wrong and escaped. The creature kept muttering to itself while it examined Lettuki who wore his usual attire, the saiyan armor, muscle shirt underneath, the lower half of a black gi and saiyan combat boots. His saiyan tail was wrapped proudly around his waist as it always was. The creature suddenly spoke out loud to the saiyan, asking why he had come from so far.

How interesting, it knew of the saiyan home world, but how exactly was it capable of knowing was a mystery to Lettuki, he could only assume whoever created the creature had done so with some knowledge built into it somehow. Or they thought it. Either way, if the bug intended to destroy or do whatever it does to Planet Salada, he was going to ensure it wouldn't have the chance. "I have no need to answer to a failed experiment." Lettuki told the bug, studying it for any movement it may make. "What are you?" Lettuki asked the creature in a manner more akin to interrogation than simply asking. "And what do you know about the saiyans?" Lettuki further interrogated the bug. 

Lettuki was on edge, the bug had intended to attack him and probably do whatever it did to the weaker ki source as well, but something about Lettuki being a saiyan had saved him from that fate, assuming it could put up a fight against him, he wasn't entirely sure if this was the same ki he felt earlier, it felt a bit different than before. Or was it just his memory playing tricks on him? Either we was prepared and studying the creature for any sign of aggression.

Lettuki had awaited for the bug to attack and it seemed to confirmed as much when it "answered" the saiyan's demands, there was little room to interpretation with that wording and it got into a fighting pose, something that Lettuki did as well. His pose was simple, his left arm was out in front of him, his elbow bent to allow his fist to be in front of his face in a defensive position while his right arm was tucked into his stomach area, partially to defend his gut and partially to strike back quickly. His legs are spread evenly and planted firmly into the ground, he was prepared for the bug to resume his launch at him, but to his surprise, the bug's eyes instead shined and a sudden beam fired toward the saiyan.

Lettuki broke his formation to bring both his hands to the attack, allowing ki to form over his hands to weaken the attack. Despite getting to defend the attack, it had caught him off guard, not enough to fully hurt him, but just enough to leave a scratch and slight burn mark on his right palm. The saiyan flung his hand limply back and forth in an attempt to alleviate the pain. "A lot stro-" Lettuki begun to say when he found himself being barraged by a series of blasts from the insect. Lettuki attempted to block some of the attacks but found himself getting struck still. 

With a small opening, Lettuki flew toward the bug and attempted to strike the bug on top of the head with his two hands wrapped around each other to form a fist, even if the attack missed, Lettuki would unwrap the hands while keeping them together and quickly create two orbs in his hand and send them at the bug, followed by another set, and yet another set, this pattern continued until there was 25 orbs flying at the bug in rapid succession. "Overwhelming Barrage!" Lettuki screamed out as the attacks were sent flying at the bug.

As the cloud smoke faded away, Lettuki waited to see the level of damage he had done to the bug, he knew the creature was stronger but if he played his cards right, he could take care of the bug. To his satisfaction the bug had taken quite the damage and had some bruises from the impacts of the orbs, it was even bad enough that it's horn was broken off. Lettuki laughed at the sight, he had made it out with barely a scratch on him and the bug was already weaken from Lettuki's first strike. The saiyan let out a laugh while the bug tried to catch his breath, he knew he should focus on taking out the bug quickly, but it was pathetic, they should both know that the bug was the stronger of the to, yet Lettuki was the least damaged from the first exchange.

The bug begun to fly away from the saiyan, which was disappointing, but to his relief the bug turned around and instead fired two big orbs flying at the saiyan quite quickly. It wasn't quick enough however as the saiyan easily dodged the two attacks, it was going to take more than that to take him out. "Too slow bug!" Lettuki taunted and with the attacks dodged, Lettuki once again closed the gap and attempted to greet the bug with a fist to it's strange face. Regardless if it hit or not, Lettuki quickly gathered energy within him and fired it outward in a large dome emitting from him. "Destruction Dome!" Lettuki once again screamed out as the dome expanded outward.

With his attack landing, Lettuki refused to allow the bug some air and flew down to it, it wasn't going to get away that easily. However, it begun to make strange gestures, what for was unknown since it could clearly speak as it threatened to kill him before. Regardless, he didn't let that distract him, the saiyan intended into pummel the creature into the ground, but he was suddenly struck by a powerful blast, causing him to stumble forward. He barely had time to react to the other attack, he had only turned to see the second one coming in quickly but thankfully Lettuki's reaction time was honed from years as a warrior and be managed to raise his arms to guard against the orb at the cost of burning his forearms on the attack, even as he was doing his all to push through it and maintain a weak ki shield around them. 

Before he could even comprehend what had happened he turned back in the nick of time to just barely raise his arms in defense against the beam being fired at him.  It avoid any more damage, the first attack, combined with the second one had weakened him quite enough but he managed to block the attack with no damage to himself. He was proud of himself for such a feat. 

Suddenly Lettuki would collapse onto one knee, the pain from the two attacks had caught up to him. He had put most of his energy into the defense and he felt winded as well. He was not going to be the saiyan king who was lost to a random bug in the middle of a small town, Lettuki knew there was only one option available to him and while he didn't like using it here in a crowded place with lots of potential future targets, he was not going to become this bug's next victim. 

Lettuki let out a primal roar as his ki begun to rise, and body begun to twitch and expand at an alarming rate, to most, it seemed almost like he was going to go into his Oozaru form. But Lettuki knew he was only awaking a old power he had never used in a long time, it was unneeded for the longest time, but now his pride was a stake, he wasn't going to die to such a lowly bug. Lettuki's silver eyes turned into a bright yellow and his muscles mass increased, alongside his height. His power kept climbing as he knelt before the bug.

Lettuki's transformation finally came to an end, he now stood at 7 feet and his muscles were more firm and even larger, his golden eyes looked toward the bug that had done so much damage to him. Lettuki had a sinister smile as he thought how to handle the bug, he was far above him now, it won't end like the first time. Lettuki rushed toward the bug while letting laughter fitting of a mad man. "Little bbbuuuggg!" Lettuki shouted as he came closer to the bug at an alarming speed. "Why must you run little bug?!" Lettuki asked in a booming voice.

"There is no escape little bug!" Lettuki as he formed a bubble of ki around the two and he begun to laugh. If the bug managed to escape the bubble, Lettuki would only follow behind it. "What now little bug?" Lettuki said as he looked down at the bug. "I know... Let's play dodge the explosion!" Lettuki laughed as he gathered some ki in himself and unleashed it in a dome attack like he had done before. "Destruction Dome!" Lettuki roared out into the skies as the dome flew outward. If the bug failed to escape the bubble, it'd find itself stuck against the wall of the bubble and it was truly providing no escape for the bug.

Once the explosion finished and the ki bubble dissipated, the bug had fell to the ground with only an extremely faint source of ki being emitted from it. That was rather disappointing. He wanted to feel it's fear and horror as he realized the true strength of the saiyan and how damaged it had become in merely a single attack, instead it seemed to have silently accepted it's fate and hoped to not die in the explosion. He knew he didn't feel any resistance from the bug during the explosion. This was no fun at all... At least right now. The bug had actually pushed him to this transformation and it seemed rather small to be an adult.

It had ki so it must've meant it was alive and he doubted the bug would stop growing at such a small and pathetic form, no, maybe like a changeling it would transform or evolve into a newer state. He was already strong as it was, as long as the two trained, Lettuki could easily keep up and keep the creature in check. Lettuki's muscle mass begun to fade and his height shrunk back to normal, his muscles twitching while it did. His golden eyes resumed their natural form of silver and he could feel himself thinking more clearly.

Still, he should keep the bug, it seemed to have been doing something to someone and he needed more information out of it, especially regarding information on saiyans and Salada. He flew down the bug and knelt down at it, examining it's damaged body. "Well little bug, seems like I did a real number on you. I'll hold on to you and hope you don't die. Hope you're as tough as the actual changelings." Lettuki told the bug, unsure if it was even conscious at this point. Regardless he picked up the body and flew off to his cave.
