Climb to the Top! A Trek for Tea and Adventure!? [Ayumu]

As you wanted to push back off the dragon, damage showing on the entire body, from a cracked jaw and damage at its head to bleeding from an eye with a damaged wing from slightly tilting one blow away, there was nothing more that he would know than to do this single plan as he grasped at the Namekian who was trying to get away.
There was nothing in this mind of his that he could do except for grab him by the leg, as he would cackle rather painfully with his body starting to descent, spitting goop over his own hand as he attempted to get him firmly stuck. "I am going to take the position of eternal dragon!" he would speak awkwardly, knowing full well that everything he had been doing was just an attempt and not the real thing.
That becoming the real thing wasn't going to be as easy as taking out a single namekian, even with how his own arms trembled, his legs couldn't stand and his eye wasn't useable any longer.
Fear? Of course there was fear in the dragon as he then charged energy all over his own body, starting to fire a volley of rays towards the Namekian he attempted to capture and keep with himself.
He wanted to eradicate him, tear him asunder and make sure that nothing could stop him at this point, so that nobody would be able to eliminate the man that was called Namorel except for himself!

Yet Ayumu saw a slight shimmer of hope in this scenario, there was a small glimmer that he would see something beautifull develop from Namorel that was fighting far below him, something that would evolve into a brilliant cascading mess of beauty and pride.
A warrior that would advance into the realms of a true icon.

But would he be able to find this chance?

As the dragon realized that he stood no chance at this point, he simply couldn't help but softly laugh as he felt something well up in his eyes as he shook his head. "I am a proud dragon." droplets of water starting to make their way downwards as the dragon would simply bite its own shattered lower lip with the top of its mouth, scraping it slightly as it would let itself drop but show movement on its wings that it would glide away before hitting the bottom, leaving just a mere single item in the hands of the namekian as it wanted to atleast remember him for something.
So he knew who had beaten him and who he could train to beat, so he could become something better, he made fun of his aspirations and told him that there was something else he could be doing, but this wasn't what he was planning to accept, he was going to full on attempt to strike against the opponent in the future and defeat him, he would...!

But namorel would be left with a single insignia of an old warrior used on earth, one that didn't use Ki but instead was made to fight off big creatures, a small little medal that had a little dragon printed on it and the old human language text on it speaking of a warrior with a spear. a dragoon.
The medal itself held a little bit of energy but that wasn't all that it held, there was a little shine to it as it glittered in the sun when held in the right way, but that wasn't the time to ponder about a metallic object that you could hold, a little medal that you could hold.

It was time to rush upwards and catch up to Ayumu and that kid wasn't it? Maybe they had already reached the top or would something else happen on the way upwards that you could assist them in?

Ayumu himself sat at the top rather heavily injured as he would have bruises on his entire body, stretching softly as he stood up with a soft smile coming across his face aimed towards the Namekian. "Yeah, the beans were up here, but we only got one for the kid." As he made his way to the rim of the platform, looking down with a thorough swallow as he reached out his hand. "Shall we end this little adventure of ourselves by just jumping back down already?"

There was not a single moment of a break that this man would have permitted Namorel to have as he put the kid towards him with his other free hand, wrapping it around him as the child had the wounds cured and was breathing normally.
A slight sense of pride starting to come across his own mind as the man would then simply speak towards the Namekian. "You did well, i am proud of you and i am proud of the way you handled it, as i do not see as much blood as there would be on you, unless you cleaned.
But remember, a life you saved is a heavy one, as you are now forever in their mind and have the responsibility to seem responsible to them.
As Ayumu i am just another man to us, i have helped you each, but above all i have done my best to keep doing my best." Showing the wounds that were on his palm from the one that he wanted to shake the hand with Namorel with as he then sighed lightly. "Be proud of your scars and carry the lives you have carried with pride too. Nothing is a worse feeling than when you can't look up to those that were proudly declaring themselves heroes and guardians and then just vanish."

As Ayumu saw the barrier form, he would simply laugh as he would allow himself to drop and follow the Namekian, glad that he was saved by him once again for his old hips couldn't take much punishment.
Today wasn't a lesson in how to become stronger, today wasn't a lesson in how to power up via a dramatic scene, this was a lesson in teamwork and how to divide roles.

And with the little things starting to rain down onto the heart of Ayumu as he found a way to once again be thankfull of Namorel, he would lead him to where the kid could be taken home.
Where he would be shown some happiness and would be shown how kind the world of Earth could be...

But that is a story for another day.
